Really lovely trip with Gary as our driver and tour guide. That man certainly knows everything there is to know about Scotland and is a magnificent driver! Maybe too much talk?
The country is so beautiful in January, but it gets dark so early. The sun was setting as we left Loch Ness, so the rest of the trip was in complete darkness, which wasn't very engaging.
I would definitely go again in the summer, if I ever return to Scotland at that time of the year!

long day but worth it, We stopped at multiple sites and the highlight was the tour guide covering the history of Scotland as we passed historical and famous sites.
This was what made the tour stand out. Loch ness and the highlands were as expected magnificent to see first hand

It was one of the most disastrous experiences I ever had. I am not from the UK, I decided to make a present to my mother and take her for Christmas to Scotland. She always wanted to go to Loch Ness, we booked the tour, we paid the ticket. And on the way to Loch Ness, after 4 hrs drive the tour guide told us that the road is closed and we are not going to visit Loch Ness. When I asked if we can go to the alternative road, since we have paid for this tour, the tour guide told us that it is not possible because it will make the tour longer and instead they will show us some soldier’s monument. When I told the guide that this is very disappointing and this is not what we paid for- a soldier’s monument, the tour guide screamed at me: “if you want go and complain but I warn you, you will never get your money back”. It was not about the money- it was the disappointment after you are coming from another country, you have invested in this trip, you are there limited days, and after all one of your days in Scotland is completely wasted with a pointless drive to the middle of nowhere and back. Moreover I am extremely disappointed from the attitude and the arrogance of the tour guide. Instead of apologising for the inconvenience screaming at me and then in the bus i insolently explaining to the group that, as it said, I quote: “actually the castle on the lake is nothing special, just ruins and it is actually not worth it, so you shouldn’t be sorry that you didn’t see it”. Here comes another question: is this the way how you promote your tourism and if it is really nothing special as your tour guide said, why do you sell tickets for this attraction then. Really, really disappointing experience. I advise the people who are planning to go to Loch Ness not to do it with this company. My experience was really terrible.

The driver cum tour guide was excellent with so much of history and knowledge about the highlands. However, it was a bit tooooo much talking and history trivia. We can’t possibly retain all of that, so a little more quieter time on the tour would be nice. Fewer bits of information from guide would suffice.

The bus ride was very comfortable with the guide stating amazing stories and history of Scotland. Stopped at picturesque views.

This was an excellent way of seeing Glencoe and the Highlands and visiting Loch Ness in one long day. We were lucky to have Connor as our driver and tour guide who was funny and engaged throughout the whole day and was also thoughtful, organised and a great driver. The highlight was the extra trip to Urquhart Castle followed by a sunset boat trip on Loch Ness

Connor our tour guide was awesome! The driver of our coach, local guy and giving us commentary all day long. Facts, history and great jokes! Great cruise and the tour of the castle was spectacular! Highly recommend if you wish to smash out the highlands and see nessy all in one day!

We did the one day tour to Glen Coe, Loch Ness and the Highlands which was amazing! Although it is a long day, we felt that we wouldn’t have been able to see as much as we did without doing a tour like this. The scenery was amazing and like nothing we had seen before! Our guide was so informative about everything we drove past and made sure we stopped regularly to look at the different attractions. We are so happy we decided to do this tour and would highly recommend if you are wanting to see the Scottish Highlands while in Edinburgh!
