Our tour guide (I don't know his name, but he was very GQ and tall) was informative and funny. The Gondola ride did not meet our expectations as those manning the ride (loading and unloading were rude).

The beginning of the trip was not such good experience as the first tour guide, who was giving us instructions took so much time as she had to repeat the instruction several times. She should have waited for all the people on the list to arrive first and then give the instructions. The tour to Golden Basilica and Doge's Palace were great as we skiped the line. The second tour guide lady was very knowledgable, but in times it was hard to understand her due to accent and many people around. I was not able to attend the gondola ride as it was at 3:00 pm and I was flying out from Venice at 4:00 pm.

This tour was awesome! Nico, our guide was so knowledgeable and pleasant…the tour was perfect. Nico speaks perfect English and is a native of Venice, so he was able to give in depth answers to all of our questions. We passed by huge lines to enter the Doge’s Palace and the fantastic Basilica. He took us to the old prison area and was super informative along the entire tour-Nico pointed out small details and made the experience so interesting for our group of 6 adults and a toddler.
The gondola ride at the end was fun and great for photos.
Love, love, love Venice and this is the perfect tour to see the highlights.

More than ample time was spent in both the Doge's Palace & St. Mark's Basilica...making for both a beautiful & educational experience!

Loved the tour of the St Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. Gina our guide was lovely, funny and informative. She is a fantastic story teller. The only downside was the tours were very big groups and there was no information about when or how the Gondola ride would take place. I had to contact the operator to find out when and how. It was hours later at 4pm so don’t expect the tour to finish within hours it’s a whole day tour!

I highly recommend this place, especially to couples. It is so romantic. If you have a honey moon, you should go to Venice.

Great experience for history buffs. A little too long and detailed for teens and children. I loved the detail but at times it was exhaustive and I just wanted it to go a little faster touching on main points. Loved the skip the lines and access to Doge’s palace and St Marks. The gondola ride was special. Great package because we got to see and understand a little history while we are here.

Although the sights to see on this tour were memorable, so was the stress understanding where to meet and how to redeem tickets. Venice can be a confusing and a crowded place to navigate and finding how to redeem our tickets to the tours was very frustrating. The link with the address they sent us took us to a place that was not correct. We were looking for the Post Office and it was very difficult to find, even though we gave ourselves time to get there. Once we finally got assigned to our group, the guide told us to wait in a spot and he would be right back and the next thing we knew, he was talking (we had earpieces to hear the tour) but we couldn't find him because his flag he was carrying did not have the number of our group like other group leaders had. That was so frantic and we were stressed to try to find the right group among hundreds of people in other groups. By the time we had found him, we had already missed a good part of the introduction which was very unfortunate. Our guide did speak English, but he was hard to understand because of the fast cadence of his speech, and unnatural breaks in sentences. It was nice to be able to access both the Palace and the Basilica without having to wait in really long lines, especially because it was VERY hot so that was one positive. The most frustrating part was that the duration of this tour was 3 hours, however, what I found out was that the palace and basilica tour was in the morning and the gondola ride was going to be that afternoon so that messed up with our other afternoon tour we had booked. Because our afternoon tour was also hard to find, we missed the boat and had to reschedule that one so we did get to do the gondola ride which was fine. All in all, I did appreciate how we were able to change our times, but this operator needs to do a better job of helping its participants find the location.
