1. Praca dos Restauradores
The square is characterized by the high obelisk, 30 meters high, called the Monument to the Restauradores and inaugurated on April 28, 1886, which commemorates the liberation of the country from Spanish rule on December 1, 1640.

Praça de D. Pedro IV, better known as Rossio (in the old spelling Rocio), is a square in downtown Lisbon, and has been one of the nerve centers of the city.

Great experience! We had a four tour with Rui, what an absolute gent! We saw so much and off the common tourist routes! Really great way to spend a day in Lisbon, couple of great drink stops too!

Miguel was really attentive to our needs. Traveling with Children can be a bit challenging but he made it simple. Entertained them and allowed us the Adults to also enjoy the tour. Picked us up at the meeting point we selected ( time-out market) and dropped us off at the hotel.

Definitely, on my next trip, I will call him.

He speaks 5 languages.

We are so happy that we booked our tour with Battista! Our Guide Miguel did a fantastic job tailoring our experience. He has a wealth of knowledge ranging from architecture, archeology, history and Portuguese culture. Not only did he give us suggestions about Lisbon but he also took the time to find out about where else we were travelling to in Portugal to be able to provide us with a ton of information including food, and cultural recommendations! This trip was the highlight of our time in Lisbon!
