Rui was a very nice young man,
however his lack and depth of knowledge of Lisbon showed for a private tour .
we didn’t get to see as much as other Viator tour guides did for us.
The disappointment is always that you never know what you’re going to get with a private tour (not having ever met the driver or knowing much other than the reviews you read hoping you get a similar good guide)
Rui would do himself a favor and learn more about the places that he takes visitors to and go with you into places and give you more details to get what we paid for for a private

Our guide, Diego, was incredible and definitely made it a memorable personalized experience. His English was great. He know the history of the area and Portugal very well. We would recommend him to anyone wanting a fun and educational tour. He stopped and got us treats as a surprise. Showed us the best spots to stand for pictures.

This tour with Angela was beyond amazing. We’d gotten off a cruise ship with lots of luggage and needed to blow 4 to 5 hours before we could check into our Airbnb. She picked us up at the port was in communication with us until she arrived right on time, helped us with our luggage which was prolific, handed us some water bottles, and we were on our way. She started by driving past our apartment, which was only a few blocks from the port. She then took us on an overall tour of the Hotspots In Lisbon. She took us to the old section, the Ritzy section, The area towards the west, Belem Tower, And then to a super market to buy some stuff for the apartment, so we didn’t have to carry it, and she even took me to the tourist office to get my tickets for the Lisbon card. And she took us to the best place for Patis Natal. (Not sure if I am spelling it correctly but it’s the wonderful pastries. Lisbon Famous ) Nothing we asked was too much and she was personable and funny and spoke absolutely perfect English.
Prior to the Tour, slingo answered all of our questions, confirmed the size of our vehicle and that it would hold all of our luggage and was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend both the company and our Tour Guide Angela.

My driver/tour guide (Nuno) as very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating as I sought to understand the distinct characteristics of the various neighborhoods of Lisboa. He provided insights into why each would be good options for living there as well as potential cons to consider. He weaved in opportunities for me to learn/practice Português once I mentioned that I have been learning some recently. He is an excellent tutor. He also introduced me to some local cuisine. He was engaging and passionate about his topics and at the end of the tour I felt that together we had successfully accomplished what I had set as the objective.

Our visit to the tower at belem was wonderful. Our guide Nuno was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the highlights. He dropped us off at Sao jorge castle at the end of the trip

We had 12 hours layover in Lisbon on a way to Azores islands. It was our 1st visit to Portugal and I am glad that we picked the private day tour. Our tour guide and driver Miguel was excellent. He picked up us in airport and gave us an unforgettable tour of Lisbon and surrounding areas, that make us want to come back and explore more Portugal’s history and culture. I highly recommend this tour if you have only one day in Lisbon; you wouldn’t never be able to see all those hidden gems and great attractions in one day on your own.
