Portuguese Masterclass is a hands-on class for those interested in learning new techniques of cooking during their visit to Lisbon. Every Thursdays, from 6:30pm to 10pm , you can learn, cook and eat a gourmet meal and drink Portuguese wines.

It was an excellent cooking experience! It was a lovely group of people with great food and wine. The chef, Anna, was lovely, fun, knowledgeable. Definitely a must do activity in Lisbon!

Sadly I had to leave the class as I wasn’t feeling well. But the first hour was full of educational information concerning the Portuguese food culture. I hope to some day take this class again.

Johana was a delightful teacher. We enjoyed the hands-on portion, and the meal was delicious. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because our group was fairly large and she needed more staff helpers. She had to supervise everything. Consequently, our meringue dessert burned up twice. It would have been nice to have name tags and ice breakers to help the students get to know each other. Overall, it was a fun evening, and I recommend this experience.

Chef Paulo was incredibly kind and provided clear and excellent instructions. I acquired new cooking skills and learned some fantastic recipes! The experience was truly enjoyable and so much fun! Attending the class solo, I had two other participants, which added to the overall enjoyment of the class. Every dish we created was a delight, and I cherished every moment of the experience. I'm thrilled that I had the opportunity to do this while in Portugal!

Cooking Lisbon is an amazing cooking class experience! Chef Paulo and Fernanda were so great at helping the class, teaching, discussing, having everything ready, supplying us wine and appetizers all night, and an amazing meal. Paulo is charismatic and funny and did such a great job involving everyone in the cooking class, meal-making process. We all had jobs! It was also nice mingling with all the students, as well as Paulo and Fernanda!
I highly recommend this class!

Fun way to learn to prepare some traditional Portuguese foods from scratch, learn a little food history and meet other travelers. Chef was patient and fun! The meal was wonderful!

Fun class and chef Paulo was fun and a good teacher. Lots of recipes and good wine! Definitely come ready to eat! They did a good job of accommodating those who had dietary restrictions.

Anna was the best chef to learn Portuguese cooking from. As no other people joined the class that day, it became a private experience which was icing on the cake! A must do!
