This is our first visit to Lisbon. After we arrive in a new city, we like to get an overview of the highlights of the area. I find using the Hop on Hop off buses a good way to do this.
The 3 routes offered in this package gave us a great opportunity to see where we want to use the remainder of our time in Lisbon.

This tour company is a complete rip off. 1 tour was ok. 1 tour was mostly the same as the first and showing you where the malls are. Finally the tram tour, we could not get on as the lines were too long. Too many tickets sold. This was a total scam and rip off. Never again booking with this company. They should be ashamed to take money for what they are giving people.

The tram part of the Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Tour was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We would definitely recommend this part of the tour. The following day we went to the bus stop and waited for an hour. The bus never came, so we started to walk various places. After a while we waited at another stop, but the bus never came. In fact, the entire day we never saw a yellow bus to get on. What a waste of time and money. We finally ended up buying a Grayline hop-on hop-off pass for the rest of the day, which worked well.

The Red Bus and Red Route - avoid !!
No working ear phones make this a complete disaster- They say available every 30mins - lie !!

We enjoyed the tram ride, but the hop on hop off bus experience was disappointing. Traffic for the bus route was so heavy that much of our time was spent waiting for traffic to clear rather than seeing sights. Additionally, the audio guide on the bus was skipping a lot such that we would miss much of the audio presentation. As mentioned, the tram ride was very enjoyable and the tram driver was especially informative and fun.

Really good HOHO bus! The ear phones were surprisingly comfortable and you could actually hear the narration really well. You can choose your language easily. The bus was clean and comfortable and the representative was helpful as you board. We did both the pink line and the blue line and much preferred the blue line. Only negative was there wasn’t enough narration and too much music. It was a great way to see the city.

Packed 3 routes in a day. Provides you with the best way to see Lisbon in a day. Just know that anything can happen with the tram portion. Bring your patience.

Was able to access all routes. Need to start early for purple line as that is far. Also there is quite a rush for tram car so start early as well.

Red line bus was ok and took around 50 minutes. The blue line tour took almost 2 hours and you mainly see high rise apartment blocks until you get to Belem. Don't bother at all. Long and boring. The tram part you are told that you have to embark at a certain point and that you can't get off once on. So not true. So my advice is to just buy a tram ticket and you can hop on hop off the 28 and 12 tram as often as you want. Fantastic.

Terrible experience, Yellow Bus drivers were unfriendly and the way the tour is set up that you have to press STOP for a bus stop is ridiculous because the driver does not interact by telling you the next stop is coming up please be prepared. Waste of time and money
