Begin your tour in Praça do Comércio, an imposing square facing the blue Tagus river, Lisbon’s entrance for vessels by the time of the Discoveries.
Travel through the 18th century downtown, rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake.
Climb up the hills on the way to hilltop monuments such as Estrela basilica. Discover Bairro Alto and Chiado, the cultural quarter of cafes and museums that became famous after the gathering of its artists, journalists and poets.
Enter the narrow streets of Alfama, the very 1st quarter of Lisbon full of roman remains, arabic influences and details that inspired the Fado songs, the 12th century imposing Cathedral and the St. Georges Castle crowning the hill.
There’s a lot more to discover aboard this vintage tram, a regular presence in Lisbon’s scenery since the 19th century. Ready to hop on?
Departures from Comércio Square: From 9:30am to 6:00pm every 30min

Was great to see the older parts of the town. Would recommend to all visitors to Lisbon as a fun way to access many interesting neighbourhoods.

Really enjoyable trip around the key parts of the city. Informative commentary. A great introduction to a new city for us and travelling on a piece of history too.

The Lisbon tram is not just an attraction for tourists! These wagons from another age work very well and allow you to discover these typical old neighborhoods while wandering a little in the narrow streets of old Lisbon. Line 28 of course, to be done at least once.

It was an excellent tour and the commentary very informative. The driver was super friendly and was happy to answer any questions, even if they were rated to things other than the tram tour!

This was the worst experience I ever had. Overpriced and a real waste of time. AVOID! We were going up and down in the same areas.

Getting to know Lisbon aboard the tram is a charming way to get to know the city. The charm of the tram, carefully restored to preserve its original characteristics, is fascinating in itself. The staff is friendly and has technical knowledge about the tram, providing valuable information along the route. I recommend this fantastic experience for a unique immersion in Lisbon!
