The lines were ridiculously slow due to incompetence staff. I would rather castrate myself with a butter knife then wait on those lines again.

Employees were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Service at Brick Restaurant was slow. We waited over an hour for food even though we had reservations.

It is and awe what they can make out of Legos. The Mini cities are amazing, a must see. The rides are great for younger kids. The staff was great and very helpful. I would love to take my grand daughter some day.

My kid loves the park. We went for a day pass and not able to enjoy all of the park. Some of the attractions were not open due to season. We might be going back this summer.

My wife and two children (ages 7 and 9) stayed at the Legoland hotel on April 25th and visited the park on both April 25th and April 26th. There was a deal going on which provided tickets to the park for 2 days and an overnight stay. We stayed in room 3016 with the Ninjago theme. We had a great time overall – please see details below.

Hotel: the hotel is clean, new, and very attentive to detail.

Room (5/5) The room was well decorated and quite large. The kids had their own area with bunk beds (and a 3rd pullout bed if needed!) with a tv and plenty of Legos to have fun with. The bathroom was large and spacious, and even the toiletries and shower curtain were Lego themed. Included was also several waters, coffee pods, and drinks for the kids ($5 if you wanted additional) – this came in handy for our day at the park. The main sleeping area had a great view of the countryside, VERY comfortable bed, and TV with plenty to watch. Another cool thing was the treasure hunt, where several clues were to be found in the room to open the Lego safe – inside which were some packaged Lego sets.

Lobby: (3/5) The lobby is nice – large play area for kids (with plenty of Legos of course), some video games, general store to buy things in, and two areas to eat (Bricks Restaurant and then the bar area). Check in was fairly smooth, although some of the directions provided to check in were not overly clear. The front desk thought that we already checked in at noon and had been given keys (although we weren’t given anything yet), so we had to go through a few hurdles to finally get our keys at 4:30.

Food (3/5): Breakfast is included with the stay at Bricks (reservations needed) and was quite good. Cereal, bread, coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, tater tots all included and unlimited – minor up charge for things like pancakes or French toast etc. We really enjoyed breakfast. The other food is ok at best and very expensive – cocktails also very pricey – we wound up going into town for dinner. We ate at Craft 47 and then got ice cream at a local spot – the town of Goshen is quite nice and only 7 min drive away.

Amusement Park (4/5): had a ton of fun, friendly staff – but one thing happened that really upset me. Rides are fun (most are very short) and you can honestly get through most of the park between 10 and 1 if you get there at open – Ninjago, Dragon, Lego Rid, and Knight pulley ride are all great and recommended – the movie theatre was fun and had three 20-minute movies running on loop all day. Plenty of play, food, and game areas, as well as restrooms, throughout the park. The park is a decent walk and requires some good stamina for staircases and such. We all had a great time and that is what matters.

So, the one thing that happened – there is a security check before entry (like everywhere else) and they check backpacks. The first day upon entry at 10AM, my bag beeped and required checking, which resulted in no problems and I entered the park. We left early afternoon to get lunch at the hotel, and then came back around 2PM to the park. Again, my bag was checked but this time they saw that I had a bottle of cologne with me, which was glass and not allowed (keep in mind this was in there from earlier). They said if they take it, it is theirs, or I can secure it somewhere. I didn’t want to walk all the way back to the car or hotel to secure, so I told the security guard I was going to hide it behind a tree (outside the park) and retrieve it later. He said that was fine as long as its not in the park. Well, when I went back at park closing (5PM) to retrieve it, the bottle was gone. I asked security (different people this time) if they would have confiscated it and said that they indeed would have confiscated it and that it is now their possession. I explained to them that this contradicted what other security personnel said and they didn’t have a really good answer. For all I know the person who saw me hide the cologne simply went over there and took it. None the less, I went to guest services then next day, explained to them what happened and asked if they could check lost and found. They were very nice and helpful and went directly over to security to ask them about it – security informed them it would have either been turned over to police or destroyed – as a result it was not in lost and found either. I applaud Legoland for being tight with security and sticking to their protocol and ensuring the safety of its guests, but this entire experience felt shady and overall, was very aggravating.

The staff everywhere was friendly, park was clean, food at the hotel and in the park was delicious and hotel room (Pirates) was fun and clean. Our kids had a great time, there was something for everyone (our kids are 1, 4, 11 and 17). The Lego installations around the hotel and park and the Mini Cities were amazing. This was our very first visit and the entire family is looking forward to going back as there was so much more we’d like to do that we didn’t get done on this trip.
