My husband and I had an amazing experience for our beginner surf lesson. Neither one of us had ever surfed before. Our instructors, Trey and Jack, were so thorough, and extremely patient. The photos taken by Jenna were exceptional, and well worth the value. We ended up with almost 150 pictures that one or both of us were in. This experience was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Australia. I would recommend this surf shop to anyone without hesitation!

The surfing was great, I've got tought how to ride green waves, how to turn my surfboard. The waves were great too and it was fun and easy. Alex 9 y.o.

We were lucky enough to have Thomas as our instructor & had a great couple of hours. Despite the odds & being one of the most uncoordinated humans on earth I actually got up a few times & rode onto shore.

It was located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, so it was perfect to have something to eat nearby. But I think it was even more so on Anzac Day, but it was too dangerous because there were so many people. Also, there is no separate shower room, so you have to wash off the salt outside and change clothes. But surfing itself is so much fun!!

Staff were very friendly and professional but also extremely personable. Best surfing experience of my life. Loved every minute and instructor was very helpful and funny. Highly recommend Go Ride a Wave. You won’t regret it!

Cal and Tren were awesome coaches. Their instructions were super clear, the lesson was fun, safe and great for all levels. As someone who has never stepped on a surf board before, I was standing up in no time before the end of the lesson. Highly recommend checking them out!

It's been a really fun lesson. Stella, Thomas and Carl were nice, friendly and ready to help. They taught us the basics and bring us straight into the water to start to practice and have fun!

The guys were very helpful, friendly and explained things well. I was an oldie amongst younger people, Trent soon recognised that I should do things differently and gave me time to try and learn.

It was an amazing experience. Blake and Yas were fantastic coaches. They gave us really helpful tips and midway through the lesson almost every body was up on the board. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. I went solo and I had loads of fun 😊.
