This adventure was one of our favorites during our 2 weeks stay throughout Costa Rica.
Finding tours that allowed us to include our 2yo toddler was proving complicated and then we came upon Jose’s SUP tour and we couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun guide! SUP’ing over Lake Arenal allowed us to take in the most breathtaking views we would’ve otherwise missed. We shared stories, fruit, and coffee and left with not only a great new friend, but the most amazing memories with our daughter that we will cherish for many years.
I highly recommend this for everyone!

i went already two times living this incredible experience with José, i ll definitely do it more as it was just outstanding, paddling on the lake with José with the volcano arenal in the background had been for me the best experiences i lived with my family, it s just a deep connection with the present out of time and space, i do recommend to anyone visiting Costa Rica to at least spend that time with this amazing guide in the majesty of the lake arenal.he became a close friend and will cherish those moments for ever. unforgetable for sure. casa hormigas has so much soul , spiritual and connected to the essential : nature.

Jose is a great guide and we loved our SUP tour around the Lake Arsenal with him! We were literally the only ones in the lake. Ahead of the tour, we coordinated everything through WhatsApp ahead of time and had a great time. Would book again! Thank you ??♀️

Brilliant morning on Lake Arenal with Jose! The paddle boarding was great fun, very easy and not overly physical so definitely achievable and don't be worried about it. Jose is an inspiring and remarkable man that I feel blessed to have met. Definitely would recommend

Our family of four had an awesome trip paddle boarding on Lake Arenal! Beautiful views, patient and knowledgeable guide, and a unique snack. Highly recommend this trip and the chance to see Lake Arenal from a different perspective.

We are a family of 5, 3 kids 15,14 and 11. Jose met us in the car park and was immediately friendly and welcoming. He put us all at ease, it was like paddling with a friend. The lake was beautiful and Jose set a pace that was suitable for our skill level. We stopped for a few rest breaks and Jose produced snacks and drinks which was so lovely. He took photos and videos which he shared with us after the trip and they were a fantastic memento of our experience. I highly recommend using Cote Sup Safari for your paddleboarding experience, it was fantastic. Thank you Jose, Pura Vida!

Jose was a great guide and safely navigated us around the shore, keeping out of the strong winds. A great surprise was a fresh coconut when we arrived at the volcano, and other exotic fruits on our journey. Great fun and an amazing setting.

My wife and I had a great fun for the paddle boarding yesterday, Jose was a very decent instructor, very patient and professional. He taught us the techniques at the beginning and gave us the confidence to across the lake. The surrounding and the views were fabulous. He also sent us the nice photos and videos for us to keep this treasure memory. In addition, it was a private tour so you got all his attention. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves the water sports to join this activity with Jose. You won’t regret!
