Our guide Giada was very nice and did her best for us. Our dissatisfaction stems from the size of the group. There was fifty or more in our group which meant the double decker bus could only get us so close and then we had walk a great deal just to get up to what we wanted to see. A fair amount of time was spent just shepherding that many people. I would only recommend this tour for a small group or private tour.

We loved that we were able to explore it on our own or guided. The tour guide was knowledgeable and well spoken. I would definitely recommend it to friends

Florence and Pisa were great but Sara, our tour person was useless. Did not speak English very well and did not explain things to the group. Well a lot of people on the bus were frustrated that was given to me in the beginning. Said the tour meeting time was 7:45 and it actually was 9:30 AM, so I had to wait around almost 2 hours for the bus in the morning. If you do, please make sure you double check the time with them if they even respond back to you probably better off calling on the phone.

This trip was incredibly unorganized and made it a terrible experience. No one could find the tour guide at the terminal. Finally maybe 10 minutes before we were supposed to depart they showed up and it continued to be complete chaos. No one knew what was going on or if they were in the right group. Upon arriving to Florence the guide got out and took off. Half the people weren’t off the bus and she was a block down the street. We guided ourselves back to the bus when told to be back (early actually) and ultimately bus driver showed up over 20 min late so we were late getting to Pisa. Got back to ship late and missed dinner time. It was a cluster. Spend the money and book excursion early with RC. They are organized!

Instructions said to look for your tour leader wearing a green shirt, it was raining and cold, none of the tour leaders were wearing green nor did they match. Once we found them it was so unorganized and chaotic. Your tour leaders walked away from us twice without acknowledgement after asking for information/instructions. It took us about 25 min to get help.

Chaos at the cruise terminal. No signs, no clear instructions, nobody (I think there were hundred people gathered) knew if they were at the right spot. Finally left a bit later. Tour guide sprinted our of the bus when we arrived Florence. Only 15 people or so were able to follow here. Rest of us was still deboarding and were on their own. Tour guide told us not to be late a the bus leaving Florence, bit we all had to wait 15 minutes because the bus was late!!! Therefore we had to rush in Pisa. Positive is that we arrived back in time to board the ship.

Really enjoyed this tour. So easy to find guide. Very knowledgeable & enjoyed walking with him. Bus comfy & had WiFi as a bonus.

Received an email day before changing the time of the tour to early morning. It was received just past the cancelation time. If we had known, we would have cancelled the tour. We waited about an 1/2 hour for people to show up. (later we talked with them & they did not have internet to get the time change). The tour guide did a decent job of getting us around Florence & Pisa. He gave us time for bathroom, gelato & lunch. To us the tour was too long. This was our first visit to Florence & were very disappointed. Pisa which everyone was saying isn't worth it, was interesting.
