An amazing, informative and fun tour. There is great structure in place to ensure the whale sharks are protected, which also enhanced guest experience by, eg. never having multiple boats crowding one animal, limited number of people in the water at once, etc. The system and timing slots mean that the tour can last the entire day (and it's impossible to know in advance how long the day will be) but it is so worth giving up early evening plans. Mario was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful in guiding the swims - his expertise and assessment of each individual allowed everyone in the group to have the best experience possible with the whale sharks, and he got some excellent footage too. The skipper was great as well. Everything was taken care of.

Mario, Alex and our driver Jo were phenomenal. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this tour & these guides. They were very informative, knowledgeable, and cared about our experience. We will be back.

We could not have had a more fantastic time. The whale sharks were even more spectacular to be in the water with than I had imagined. Our snorkel guide Joe was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful to people of all ages and skill levels. There were some kids and older people in our group and he made sure they had as good of a time as those of us who spend a lot of time in the ocean. Also, it should not be underestimated how incredibly challenging these outings must be to organize, due to the heavy government regulation and the unpredictability of wild animals. Massive shout outs to our group organizer Mario, our captain Beto, and our driver Edgar. Each of them played a key role in making the day successful, especially Mario who had a wonderful positive attitude at keeping everything moving and positive. One note: the TripAdvisor ad is not accurate: towels are not included so bring one from your hotel.

We had such an amazing time swimming with the whale sharks. The waters were pretty rough the day we went out, which made it difficult at times to swim and follow the sharks. Luckily, we had an amazing captain and an awesome guide, Joe! Joe took the time to help each of us swim to keep up with the sharks when we got tired and made sure each and everyone on the boat was able to see and swim next to these gaint beauties! This activity is definitely for people who have been snorkeling before and who are strong swimmers. It's definitely not for young kids. My two teen boys who are very active in working out and play all sports were exhausted! Joe was so patient and extremely helpful in helping us when we needed it! Such an amazing experience!! Definitely a must!!
