We have been white water rafting in the United States, but this was the best tour we have ever experienced. Elbert is such a skilled guide, and he went out of his way to show us sloths and monkeys. With Michael’s reliable driving and Steven’s impressive photography, we felt so well cared for. The lunch was delicious, and we appreciated that we were accommodated as vegetarians. We had an absolutely amazing experience, thank you so much.

Our family’s first time in Costa Rica and our kids first white water rafting. Andres and Brian were simply amazing and took excellent care of us from start to finish. They shared a ton of local knowledge, ensured my younger kids felt comfortable by explaining what to expect and all the safety aspects of the river/rapids. It was just our boat and it was very much a personalized tour. We stopped halfway and ate delicious local fruit. Lunch at the Monkey Park was the best we had in CR! We loved every second and can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience, great guides. Well organised and felt safe the whole time. Saw loads of wildlife and a nice fruit-break halfway along. Good wholesome Costa Rican food afterwards. Thoroughly recommend if you're in La Fortuna.

What an experience! I have gone level 1 white water rafting before, but this was more intense. The only thing to be careful about is that it is a level 3 experience which is the roughest. You must pay attention to the instructions or you will fall off. A few of my friends fell off their raft and one went under the raft. DO NOT have long nails when doing this. The experience broke 2 of mine off very low and I was bleeding a lot. The captain took care of my injury though. The monkey park was nice. They explain the differences in monkeys and set up binoculars to see them even closer. The food was excellent! Get the chicken option. The transportation accommodated us. It was a great day.

Awesome experience!! Had a few people fall in and the instructors were super knowledgeable and acted fast!! Would never do this again but recommend for everyone to do it at least once!!!

This was definitely and experience I said we had. Something that I think everyone should experience once or more in life. Our guide Albert was great and literally kept me safe the whole way, so THANK YOU ALBERT! You are the best.

Absolutely brilliant experience - the rafting was so much fun. We felt in safe hands with our guide, Brian, who was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. We also enjoyed the delicious lunch. The highlight of our trip so far!

We have just returned from the most wonderful day with Colon and Brian.
We were picked up from our hotel this morning at 9.30am by Brian and Colon and given a very warm welcome. We were driven to the start of the white water raft tour whilst being given lots of local information on the way. Once we arrived we were told the plan for the day and given a safety talk. Being in my mid 40s I was w little worried before the day but all my worries dissolved after speaking with the tour guides. The white water rafting was truly exhilarating, refreshing and super fun! It felt like being a child again and we all had cheek ache from laughing and smiling all day.
After most of the rapids we stopped for fresh fruit and a swim. This company really believes in sustainability and supporting local business which is very important to our hearts too.
After the fruit and swim stop. we had a calmer boat trip and mini wildlife tour. Colon was amazing at spotting all the different birds and animals and we must have seen over ten iguanas, five sloths and many other interesting birds.
Another highlight was a typical and delicious Costa Rican lunch at Monkey Park. This is the only company to offer this service. The lunch and fresh drink was the best food we have eaten since arriving. We were then dropped back to our hotel after a truly magical experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a personalised, unique, stimulating and super adventurous day! THANK YOU FROM ADAM AND I!
There are many larger companies you can choose but the lovely family we were with today (family of four) and my husband and I all agreed that we preferred this more intimate and completely personalised experience.

A great, great time with Bryan and Colon delivering a wonderful, personal WWR experience. Extremely professional and attention to detail. Rafting experience, combined with nature spotting, combined with local fruit snack stop off and a lovely lunch after. Couldn’t ask for more, great value for money and a ‘must do’ activity if staying in the Arenal or La Fortunate area during your stay.

Truly a worthwhile experience that made our whole trip! Our guide, Colon, was hilarious and pointed out so much wildlife along the way! We saw sloths, iquanas, bats, monkeys, and toucans. Truly a perfect day and to end it with a typical Costa Rican lunch at monkey preserve topped it off perfectly. Day goes from around 9:30am to 3pm, photo packages are ~$40USD for all the photos taken (worth it), and there’s even a midway stop halfway through rafting to eat fresh fruit! Worth every penny, would recommend to anyone, and would do again!
