We choose Ecocentro Danaus since it was suggested by our lonely planet and it was a really good choice! Our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the center and the animals that live inside the protected area. We were able to see a variety of birds (the guide was equipped with a monoscope), sloths, caimans, and butterflies. Really recommended.

We visited the ecocenter during low season and were warmly welcomed. A guide was ready to give us a tour and already at the start we saw our first slot. Elias, the guide, knows every inch of the park and showed us lots of animals we would never have noticed without him. Even the green tree frog of Costa Rica, which is a night animal, he knew where to spot. Thanks to the telescope he had with him, we could even take lots of pictures and see every detail of rare birds, lizards, a cayman etc. Thanks a lot for this great experience!!

It was a really nice experience, we were lucky to see bunch of animals ! Our guide was really nice and gave us really interesting explanations about the forest and animals. I definitely recommend this tour. It's a really easy walk, perfect if you are not into long walk or hiking.
