The beauty was awesome! This was on my bucket list to swim under a waterfall. All my expectations were met! Our guide David was exceptional . He was so knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and the environment. We really had a great time!

Our guide Mark absolutely made this day an amazing experience! He is an excellent tour guide, providing Hawaiian history lessons, local details about the island towns we passed through, and even current land usage and ownership details. His knowledge of the flora and fauna we encountered was encyclopedic, and his occasional injections of his philosophical world views was awesome!

Excellent day out. Visited 3 waterfalls during our hike. Our guide Gary has excellent knowledge of the areas visited. Made our trip more enjoyable - even with his dad jokes. The lookout for lunch was great - although a little windy on the day. Well worth the early morning start.

Garry made this hike and waterfall tour worth the money. He was an excellent driver and narrator, wanting to make sure no question went unanswered. While the hike wasn’t very long, the waterfall swim was unique (and cold). The picnic lunch was perfect and the view was amazing and jaw dropping. Thank you Hawaii Forest and Trails for a fun adventure.

This was one of the best experiences I had on the Big Island. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great opportunity to see and learn so much and the views are unbelievable. Highly recommend!

This tour was really cool. The falls were beautiful, the little hike was fun, and the view from our lunch spot was breathtaking. What really made the tour stand out for me though was our tour guide, Mark. You could tell he was a born “people person”. He knew exactly what to say to everyone at exactly the right time. He took care of our safety, made us all feel included, and seemed to genuinely care that we were having a good time. He had this hunger for knowledge and a beautiful appreciation for life and for all that it offers, that was really contagious. I don’t think I’ve ever been so impacted by another human being in such a short amount of time. He taught me many things on this tour, about the island and about life, that I will never forget.

Everything about this tour was on point. The company really thinks of everything you experience before, during and after the waterfalls. Mark was an incredible tour guide, very knowledgeable and respectful of the land. There’s a little bit of off-roading which got a little bumpy but not bad. Definitely use the walking sticks provided because the trail can become slick when wet. They also provide towels, rain gear, snacks and a substantial lunch at a gorgeous private park overlooking the ocean. The waterfalls themselves are beautiful and swimming in one was the highlight of the day! I definitely recommend this tour and would do it again!

We had so much fun on this tour. Mark was informative, professional, and generally a fun guy all around. They had everything we needed to have a great time and they clearly cared that we did. The waterfall pool we swam in was a little cool but I imagine in the height of summer it would feel even more heavenly.
