Kintsugi is a delicate technique; you are NOT allowed to bring any personal ceramic pieces to this course. You will use the plates prepared for beginners by the studio.

Truly a wonderful experience. Nobu is a skilled artist and teacher. It was truly great to learn from her I would highly recommend to anyone in Tokyo to go enjoy and learn from her.

This experience was so much fun!! Taku (the artist) breaks down each step and shows how to do them and explains why. It’s great to experience a truly Japanese craft with an artist who is very passionate with a great story!! The studio was a little hard to find, it’s on the basement level diagonally across from the 7/11.

Fantastic experience. The instructor was very nice and gave great instructions at every step. And she was very nice, it felt like taking a lesson from a friend rather than a stranger. The studio wasn’t very hard to find, it’s located about a 5 minute walk from Omotesando station or a 20 minute walk from Harajuku. Come to the class with an open mind and embrace the beauty of Japanese wabi sabi.

Small class (Just our family of 4), teacher was courteous, patient with us.
We would have loved to take additional classes, but our schedule would not allow it.
If anyone is interested in learning about pottery and Kintsugi, this class is highly recommended.

This was an incredible, unforgettable experience. Learning the art of kintsugi and being able to do it myself was not only therapeutic, learning to embrace beauty of imperfections, but you also get a lovely souvenir to take home!
