K’gari is a beautiful and 1 of a kind island with (quartz) sand. Lake McKenzie (filled with rainwater) is stunning.
Our guide, Keith, was the best. Knowledgeable, cheerful, positive and respectful (to passengers and Butchulla people). What a nice man.
We covered a lot of distance (200 km) but there were enough stops and we found the time we had at those stops, more than enough.
The food at the restaurant (hot and cold buffet) was satisfactory (not everything was hot) but this is a detail.

We had such a wonderful day tour on Fraser Island. Our guide, Butch, was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the island. We had the opportunity to sit in front with him on the bus. Beautiful island with gorgeous scenery.

We had an amazing day on K’gari on Saturday. The weather was perfect and our tour guide Keith was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the Island, funny and friendly and made the whole day truly amazing. This has been one of our favourite days up the East coast so far😁 we would 100% recommend to anyone. Super day and expertly executed thanks to Keith - great tour guide and full of interesting facts about the island, animals and history! He made sure we had loads of time at each of the sites and then swiftly got us to the next. Worth a day trip!

A fantastic day out. The scenery and the places of interest were better than we expected. An awesome Lunch was provided with an opportunity to purchase souvenirs. Our driver Hayden was great. Very knowledgeable, well spoken, accommodating and very experienced at driving the 4WD tracks. Felt very safe at all times. Saw Dingoes too. Our favourite spot was the fresh water streams on the Eastern Side. 💙

It was wonderful day I spent on the island. Our tour guider Blair has extensive knowledge on the plants and island. We were also amused by his sense of humour. The buffet food was quite satisfying as well. All in all, we enjoyed it.

My family and I finally made it to K’gari on Monday. It was a full day tour. Dave, our tour guide was amazing and shared all his knowledge about the Butchulla people and the land. It was very informative while driving on the very bumpy tracks in a pod.Lake Mc Kenzie was the highlight of the whole tour. It was a little oasis out of nowhere on the island. You have to visit the Island to see everything it offers. It is worth the money you spend to see this beautiful paradise. Country is awesome.
