This experience far exceeded our expectations! We were actually expecting to tour some tulip fields(which were included) but the gardens were magnificent. Our guide was a bonus because he was so knowledgeable about the gardens and the flowers.
Delft was a little difficult because they were preparing for the coming holiday. We elected to do the Vermeer museum there and it was worth the time.

It was a dream come true to see the Kuekenhof Gardens with a bonus trip to the town of Delft. We enjoyed a small private tour with Cherry as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and it was like traveling around with friends visiting and talking about anything on our minds. While we knew that we were seeing the gardens a bit early in the season, the various flowers were gorgeous and like a sea of color. It was too early to see the fields full of tulips, but we did see fields of beautiful yellow Daffodils. The offset to going early in the season was that the crowds were light and perfect, in my opinion. Then, we hit the road again to see more countryside and the town of Delft. Cherry guided us on a stroll thru the beautiful town center where we visited a small shop. We watched the Delft pieces being painted and listened to and watched how the pieces were made and fired. As we strolled thru the quaint walkways, Cherry provided interesting facts about the town and history. The good thing about a small private tour is that we could customize our stops to a certain extent. So we opted to visit a quaint pub instead of another cathedral for some much needed adult beverages and Dutch Apple Pie. We so enjoyed the entertaining travel conversation with Cherry and the other guest who had traveled the world mostly as a single traveler. I highly recommend Cherry's Travel Tours, and we will book with her again when we are back in the Netherlands again!

This day trip was so easy, pleasant and a great combination to see Keukenhof Garden and the town of Delft. We were picked up and driven in a small group of 6 in a luxury minivan and arrived early enough in the morning to Keukenhof to be a little ahead of the crowds that came later and had plenty of time to see all of the amazing flowers and pavilions plus a quick lunch before departing to Delft. Delft was a treat because it was the home of the artist Johannes Vermeer and we had just seen the Vermeer exhibit at the Rijksmuseum. We had time on our own and visited the Vermeer Center and ate some local specialities found in the shops and restaurants there. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and Morgan and Cherry were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend any tour with them!

Our guide/driver Eldos was very pleasant, informative, and a safe skilled driver. Once we arrived at Keukenhof, our group was escorted to a demonstration on tulip growth and varietal development. Anyone interested in ordering bulbs was escorted to the location for that process. Otherwise, tour group members had free time sufficient to roam the gardens, get a snack/meal, and take hundreds of photos of this amazingly beautiful place. The Tulip Fields stop was short but supplemented the learning experience and provided the opportunity for a few more good photos. There were mixed reactions to Delft as the last tour destination, possibly because our group was elderly and energy levels were running low. Overall, I was happy with the tour and would book again with Cherry Travel & Tours.

Timing at each stop was good. Beautiful flower gardens and fields. Delft cheese and pottery making demos were nice. Smaller size group and of 8 and van having pros and cons.

The tulip garden was amazingly beautiful. In retrospect, we should have chosen a trip that only went there.

My middle-school age daughter and I traveled to Amsterdam to see Vermeer, and we took advantage of this tour. We’re glad we did, as this was one highlight of our trip! Our guide, Osman, was very informative, kind, and helpful. Keukenhof was incredible, as were the tulip fields! We loved the peaceful, idyllic town of Delft, too, and enjoyed great cheese & chocolate there! Would highly recommend this tour!

As an amateur botanical artist this was a bucket list visit for me. The visit was way beyond my wildest expectations. Our driver Joaquin took us to all the places we would have missed if we’d done it on our own. Delft was very special as well. Don’t hesitate, just book!

I was disappointed in this tour because I think the tour description was misleading. The description said that an informative guide would give us a tour of Delft and the Keukenhof Gardens. We were driven to the gardens and Delft by a pleasant young man but he didn't act a guide. He shared a few details about the gardens and Delft, but we were then left to explore on our own. It was interesting to see the pottery factory.

While our guide, Eldos, was very nice, this tour is completely overpriced for what you get. Essentially, you are paying [a lot] for a ride to Keukenhof and Delft and for a ticket to the gardens. While Eldos did provide some commentary, those in the back could not hear well, and he himself admitted that he needed to learn more.

Furthermore, we booked this tour because it include Delft, but our time there was cut short by delays. First, the guide was 15 minutes late arriving in the morning. When we arrived at Keukenhof, not all of the tickets scanned, so we had to wait while he tried to sort that out. Eventually, we went off on our own, missing the tulip growing demonstration he said that he had prearranged. The gardens were very crowded and the boat ride was completely sold out until much later in the day. The tour company either needs to prearrange or warn you that it’s likely to be sold out.

On the way to Delft, we stopped at a tulip field which was very nice. When we got to Delft (behind schedule), another guest informed us that she needed to be back in Amsterdam for another appointment, so we had to cut short our visit even more. We visited a pottery factory, which was interesting, but after that, we only had about an hour to enjoy the city. This was very disappointing. Returning to Amsterdam, we dropped the other guest at her appointment, adding another 1/2-1 hour to the trip.

All-in-all, an expensive van ride that left us disappointed.
