This was my 3rd day here and my 3rd tour. We went to see the Tulips at Keukenhof and just in time since the place will close in 3 days. A lot of the tulips had already past their bloom but there were plenty of others still in form to make the trip worthwhile. I took many pictures. The trip to the cheese and clog shops was informative on how both were made. The windmill stop was also beautiful and another great place to take many pictures. The tour guide was informative and friendly s d I enjoyed my day. I would recommend this to those who have nerved been to Amsterdam before.

This was the worst guided trip we have been on. We rushed to meet the requested arrival of 10 min before 0900 start. When we arrived at the start point, a large group of people were crossing the street. At the designated cafe, there was a long line. When we checked we were told to get in the line for the tour. We waited over 10 min (past the 'start time' for the tour) to get to the registration point. We received the tickets for the event/site and were given a pass for bus 4. [With 60 passengers per bus, logic says 180 had already left.] On the bus, the guide gave us some background information on the area and the tulip display we would be seeing. On site, she walked us to a windmill, quickly explained some to the displays, then said we had some 3 hours of free time to enjoy things until the bus would leave. At the second site, we saw two presentations then again told we had a couple of hours or so of free time to view/enjoy the site (which seemed more of a tourist trap than anything).
To us, this was much more short lectures during transportation to the two locations than an actual guided trip through the location. The start was more like a cattle call, much less organized than many mass transportations in the Army and much more frustrating. The weather was rainy, windy and cold; in short miserable. No efforts were made to provide any protection from the weather. If you are expected to be 10 min before the start time and are there at that time, the guided trip should start on time.

The trip was amazing, plenty of time at each stop. While the group was large (full bus) we felt like we were given everything we needed to enjoy the visits. I would do this again without reservation.

This day was lovely and our guide was great. I would say it was a fair price for the experience. It was not high end but still fair. Be sure to read the instructions for meeting inside the shop opposite the cafe for check in, many people were lost and stressed. First we went to the gardens for 3 hours after about a 45 min drive. This was plenty of time for the park and even in early May many flowers were still blooming and it was warm and sunny. We then drove about 35 min to a cheese farm and show making demonstration (this was very underwhelming) and a very large gift shop. We then went to a vintage Dutch village after about another 40ish min with some cute shops and windmills. It was a lovely tour and we learned some interesting things. The canal tour we paid for but didn’t take. Didn’t realize the boats were the large covered ones. Overall had a satisfyingly full day hitting high points of the country. Came back tired and hungry from light snacking all day.

The Keukenhof and Zaanse Schans day trip was excellent. Great guides. Plenty of room to explore everything. Highly recommend. To find starting point follow directions from company not your google.
Don't bother adding the canal cruise as by the time we got there they were sold out for the day. Lovers canal cruise were less than helpful. Better off doing a canal cruise with another company as there are lots to choose from.
