My gamily used to live in Taiwan and Fuji was kind enough to take us where the military housing used to be. Many of the houses are now restaurants and it was good to see the old neighborhood. We also saw the Grand Hotel ( so worth the trip again) and the Confucius Temple. Then, Fuji took us to a small dumpling restaurant where we ate hand pulled noodles in beef soup and Chinese chicken dumplings. We sat in the restaurant watching the owners making all the food right before us . It was a fantastic experience. By the way Fuji, my sister says we took a picture of house number 3 and ours was 5 so we did see our former house and street. Thank yo so much for our wonderful tour.

Great trip with Berry. Lots of interesting stops which end with a view of Taipei 101. Would have gone up but don’t like heights . Had typical Taiwanese lunch instead!

Tour was very good. Thomas our guide was knowledgeable about the sites we stopped at. The Chang Ki Shek museum was nice with the guide pointing out important information. Also the temple we visited and fortune teller was quite fun and interesting. Nice tour!

Herman did an outstanding job. His English is exceptional. He is punctual, courteous, friendly, and professional. As Taipei is his hometown, he was able to share his lifetime of local experiences with us. HIs narratives were concise and interesting, his explanations clear and easy to follow. He created a tour that was an experience we will always remember. Thank you!

We spent an amazing day with Bruce on this great shore excursion.
He picked us up shortly after we cleared immigration on our cruise. We were able to see all the top spots in Taipei City before the crowds showed up.
Great planning on Bruce’s part at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial in that we witnessed the impressive changing of the guard, with nobody blocking our view.
Bruce has great knowledge of the city as well as Taiwan. He has the perfect personality for a tour guide, too!
We would like to return someday and will definitely contact Bruce and his company again!
Don’t bother with the large cruise ship group tours. Do what we did and have a fantastic day!

William was our tour Guide in Keelung. Since he lived in New Zealand he spoke English well, and was extremely helpful to our party of four order adults. Not only did William drive us around, but he explalin the various sites walking with us, helping us get tickets for the venues, help us order lunch, and even help with our picture taking. It was great to go the the temples and have William explain various activities. This tour was very good because we had William to help us. Worth every penny.

We had a delightful guide, Michael Chan,, who cheerfully listened to our wants and showed us exactly what interested us. Taipei is a fun city to visit. We loved the historical district and magnificent temple.

Our guide met the four of us at the cruise port and we immediately realized that he really couldn’t speak English. He also had no idea how to drive to the places we had asked to see. He spent time on the phone getting directions. He took us to places we did not want to see and we finally told him to take us to the museum. After that, we told him to take us back to the ship. We think we were his first tour and he failed miserably. This was not what we had contracted for, nor what we paid for. I complained to Trip Advisor and was told that it had been sent to support staff. Never heard from them.
