If you are a group of 4 that is available at 300.00 plus tax. This also assists the instructors to be safer.

The session far exceeded our expectations. The check in staff were so kind and accommodating. You get a complimentary wet suit for the session. Our instructor was phenomenal and worked tirelessly with us to help us try to catch every wave. These have to be the best surfing lessons on the island.

I have taken several lessons with them over the years. All the instructors are great. My personal favorite is Big Sean because I am old and slow and he is patient. Book with them. You will not regret it. It seems to be that everyone catches waves. And you are surfing in the most beautiful place on earth.

After a great experience surfing with their instructors in 2023, we booked 2 private sessions this year (last year we surfed as a couple, but due to injury this year my husband surfed on his own). His two morning sessions with Big Nate were fantastic - surfing at Pinetrees and Pavillion on separate days, and I was able to watch from the beach. The instructors are great at teaching technique, providing encouragement, and of course keeping students safe! We will be booking again and would highly recommend.

My son and I had never surfed before. Our teacher Kohl had a lot of patience with us total beginners. I was never able to stand up on the board (old guy) but my son did several times and he had an awesome time (my goal). My son says it was a 5 star experience because: "Kohl gave us great instructions before we even got into the ocean. He was very encouraging when there was something we could do better."

Our experience learning to surf was nothing short of spectacular! All the staff were reassuring and welcoming. Bridget and Aunty Lynn were warm and kind. Our whole family took a lesson with Sean. He was fun and very skilled at teaching people how to surf for the first time. We are two 50-year-old parents and two teenage kids (Ages 14 and 16). The kids found confidence on the waves. All four of us repeatedly got to ride waves!!! As soon as we were done we were so excited we rented boards so we could spend the whole day surfing in beautiful Hanalei Bay. A truly spectacular experience!

Highly recommend Hawaiian Surfing Adventures! Mitchell made our first lesson fantastic with his patience and personable approach. My husband and daughter had a blast catching their first waves. A definite must-do activity!

We had so much fun learning to surf with Kohl and Hawaiian Surfing Adventures! We were a multigenerational group, with ages ranging from 9 to 68, and we all had great fun and great success learning to surf! We were all able to ride waves all the way in, and had so much fun that we also rented a surf board from HSA for 3 additional days of surfing on our own. I can't think of a better place to learn to surf than Hanalei Bay. Thank you Kohl and HSA!!!

Kohl was a great instructor and all 4 of us got standing the first time! We ended up renting a surf board a total of 3 days from this shop and will rent from them again
