I’m rating the great guide we had and not necessarily the city tours. Pastor was informative and pleasant, prompt, flexible, and great overall. My fault for not researching Joburg and Soweto to understand this was a slum tour. I very much appreciated hearing the history of the city and country but did not enjoy the trash, poverty, destruction, and crime of Joburg. I did decline to walk the poor area of Soweto and did not feel safe in the Maboneng street art (graffiti) part of town. I didn’t know that slum tourism is very popular, just not for me.

We did this tour yesterday with Pastor who is an excellent guide. He gave us so much insight into the history of Johannesburg and Soweto. The tour was relaxed and easy. Soweto, also was fascinating and we came with more understanding of how this area developed. Thank you

I booked this tour as I only had one day in Joburg. The tour was very though and informative. It included a lot, and I learned a lot about the city. I even did the bungie off the Soweto Towers (booked on arrival) and the guide was more than happy to wait. I was also dropped off at the Apartheid museum to continue my day of tourism. Very happy with the experience.

Wonderful experience with our guide Pastor. We landed and within 15 miniatures was picked up from the airport for this private half day tour. Pastor is an experienced guide who provided the right level of information in context of our sight seeing. It’s so important when you only have 5 hours to make the best of it in a high quality way. I highly recommend this tour and especially Pastot for your tour guide. Extremely satisfied 5*

Being from the US we have long admired Nelson Mandela from afar. We were both old enough to remember the apartheid years and South Africa’s long struggle to overcome this cruel system. Seeing Constitution Hill and Soweto was so meaningful . Our tour guide Pastor was excellent.

Pastor is an extremely informed guide, who gave us an in-depth overview of events in South Africa and Johannesburg from a historical and political perspective. We stopped at many interesting landmark and sights throughout the city and in Soweto. We were very happy that we did the tour and we learned a great deal.
