James Bond Island Private Boat Tour

We did tours two different days -- one the James Bond Island tour (which also included some cave exploring, racing through the mangroves, Koh Pan Yee for lunch, some time on a private beach), and the other the Phi Phi Islands -- and both were amazing. Three person crew (Joon, Woody and Nan), such a great itinerary both days, super friendly, and clearly also concerned about safety. Wish I could give more than five stars. We have done private boat tours in many locations, and 5 Star Marine was about as solid as anything we have seen anywhere we have gone.

Excellent experience that exceeded our expectations! Firstly, 5 star crew checked in many times before the trip to capture our needs. They were able to arrange for 2 separate transfers for my family and 2 other friends as we stayed at different hotels. They also made sure that on one of the cars, a baby seat was made available as we were traveling with a 1yo - thank you! On the day itself, the crew analysed the weather and sea conditions with us and gave us various options to consider and that helped us change our plan to a tour that comes with a less bumpy ride and better scenery!

Crew was super super friendly and helpful and were always looking out for us throughout the day. They were always ready to help us carry or entertain our baby to make sure the adults have time to enjoy ourselves. The ice cold soft drinks and fruits, fresh water to clean ourselves with etc provided throughout the trip were very much appreciated too!

I organised a birthday trip for my partner around Nga bay. The staff was excellent in suggesting how to customise the experience and very attentive throughout the tour. We went exploring the caves, canoing around the cliffs, and swimming on quiet beaches. We had a private picnic on a stunning beach and they kindly prepared a birthday cake for us. It was un unforgettable experience, one of the best highlights of our holiday in Phuket.

We had a blast with Dream & his team (Mat & Ann), that we booked a second snorkeling adventure. In both instances, the boat was impeccably clean. The staff was welcoming & happy. The trips were highlights of our adventure to the magical country of Thailand!!

This was a family excursion. My wife and I are early 60's and our kids/family mid to late 20's. We had done a Phi-Phi Island tour 2 days earlier with 5 Star and our captain/host Joon we requested to have for this tour because he already knew us. I would highly recommend Joon if you can get him as he is a joy and especially if you speak English as he communicates well and can answer many of your questions and provides a really great insight to what you are seeing. For this trip on top of James Bond island, which is touristy but beautiful, its about seeing caves 4 different ways. You figure out the ways but amazing. But I think the highlight for me was that Joon took us into the mangrove park and to the Muslim Floating Village for lunch. For some reason I think being in a quiet river with the islands growing out of the mangroves just made it look more spectacular. Also, seeing the Muslim village with a floating pitch and kids playing football (soccer) on this floating field and jumping into the water to retrieve the ball when they missed the goal was really cool. If you love snorkeling then I'd also recommend the Phi-Phi island trip with 5 Star as I could have done that all day as the amount of different fish and coral is amazing. 5 star is a great and well run organization and Joon and Captain and first mate are absolutely the best!

We saw a few videos about various trips offered by 5 star, and we all wanted bits from different trips. ALL our requests were accompanied for, we have had the most amazing, exciting, adventurous day.
The communication beforehand has been spot on, making sure they knew all our requirements. The pick up was on time, polite and helpful. The day was fully explained to us so we knew ever was there.
The trip itself, with Jimmy and his crew, was perfect. We would be just leaving a location as the crowds turned up, or arriving as they left, meaning we've not had to battle with others for space or to get that perfect photo.
This trip will be something we all remember with massive smiles for a very long time.

We were travelling with 3 families. Service excellent. Well organised tour, inc kayak, hotel transfer and even sea sick tablets! Our guide Beer was awesome. We happy to recommend!

5 Star Marine blew away our expectations and then some! My fiancée and I booked a private boat tour to James Bond Island and are so glad we went with 5 Star. Jessica, our guide was truly incredible and so knowledgeable. We walked away with so much interesting information about Phuket, the islands and Thailand in general. A big shout out to the captain and engineer who were great as well. Jessica and the crew knew all of the best places to go and because 5 Star hosts their tours on the early side, nearly everywhere we went was completely empty from other tourists. We were able to have a private cave tour, kayaks through Hong island, Koh Panyi Village and more! We have been in Thailand for over a week now and can honestly say this was the highlight of the entire trip. If you are looking for a very special tour where you will experience far more than just James Bond Island, then this is the trip for you. 10/10 overall experience and we will be booking another tour with 5 Star during our next trip back to Thailand. Thank you Jessica and crew! Also, 5 Star provides transportation to and from where you are staying which was really great

Had an amazing day with June and the crew. From start to finish 5 star marine are brilliant - constant contact and info in the run up with changes made in line with weather forecasts to make sure our experience was safe and we got the most of our trips. We also had a fantastic tour guide in June who made our trip amazing along with the rest of the team who looked after the more nervous members of the group in the sea. We did the Phi Phi island trip also which was equally amazing. We saw so much, the tour was flexible to accommodate our needs and what we wanted to do, the whole team looked after us and made great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. June took amazing pictures which they sent to us the next day. Don’t hesitate to book. Very clean, safe and experienced tour company. I would not hesitate to recommend and will book again when we return to beautiful Phuket.

We just wrapped up a tour, 12 of us as a family. This was honestly the best day we could hope for. Beer (yes that's right, the name of the captain, pretty easy to remember) and the rest of his crew were absolutely amazing. We got off the beaten track and found some incredible private spots that you could only access when the tide was right. We ended up not going to the James Bond Island as there were too many people when we got there and we only wanted very private spots. Beer and the team were very flexible and not short on recommendations. We stopped at hidden spots that are worth 1000 times James Bond Island. Thank you so much for everything!
