Very informative! Our tour guide, Rob, was engaging and carried his voice really well. The projections are a great addition, thank you for an interesting night!

Ben, our guide, is a dedicated professional who really know his subject matter. He is informative, funny at times which is a relief, considering the pathos of the theme.
Not only did he cover the murders of the so called Jack, but the socio political scenario of the east end at the end of the Victorian period.
It's about psicopathy, murder, discrimination, bungling police work and the general mysery it was being a poor person en 1888.

This was horrendous. We stood outside while a tour guide lectured us, and showed us pictures. Also known as Ripper vision from a head held projector.. terrible, I want my money back

This tour is as advertised, but take note, the tour groups seem to have no caps on how many people can join the tour. I took the tour with my family on a Saturday evening and there was close to 50 people.
Most of the relevant locations have changed over the years ( to be expected after 100 years!) but you’re really spending the evening walking from one generic, modern office building to another.
The tour guide was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and theatrical. He obviously knew his stuff. BUT if you want to know his theory of who the killer is, well you need to buy his book. Jack The Ripper: One Autumn in Whitechapel Paperback
But the large group just changed the dynamic, everyone seemed unengaged and bored. I’m not sure I even heard anyone ask him a question.
Another thing to note, is how many OTHER Ripper tours were happening at the same time. There was one occasion when 5 different Ripper tours in the same square trying to avoid each other.
My advice, buy the book, skip this tour, and do the guide’s Medieval London tour instead. He said maybe six people show up for that one. Or, if you just have to do this tour, go on a weekday so maybe it’s a smaller group and fewer other Ripper tours to battle.
My advice to the tour operator, charge more $$$ and have smaller groups! You’ll probably get more tips.

Rob was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and very respectful of the victims in this case. He stuck only to the facts and let you know the theories, but that they were just theories. I have researched this case myself a bit and it was very fascinating to hear what happened, with actual crime pictures, while standing in the actual locations.
