Turkish Bath is a cleaning method which has been used since the initial years of Ottoman Empire. Your skin gets softer as the result of perspiration in the hammam.

The whole experience was amazing. I totally recommend the ladies at the bath, they were absolutely perfect. If I go again at Istanbul, I will surely visit this place again!

The marble hammam which also has a nice dome is beautiful and relaxing but the service could be greatly improved. Some more explanations would be nice and a bit more care. The massage was very average. Afterwards nobody cared any more. The mud mask was applied without care. Was told to wash it off. Hardly a smile. Reflecting the December weather outside. The cooling off area features lounges with very worn out plastic covers. Would be a great place if the staff was not so gruff.

Time felt really slow at Aga. I had a day long layover to spend in Istanbul and I knew I wanted to stop off at a hammam to rinse off the travel. I picked Aga because it looked very well-maintained and intimate - and it was! The bath itself is a marble jewel box with skylights. My masseuse did a great job scrubbing me down and applying the cloud-like lather with a gentle hand. I will definitely drop by again!

The workers are super nice and make you feel super comfortable.
Also important to note that if you go with a couple of different sex you will be able to relax in the hamam together, but if you don't want presence of other sex in the hamam I don't think it will be possible.
The massage was in private and it was the best! Very experienced and kind massageur.
The only thing I would change if it was possible is giving the option of staying a tiny bit more in the wet part (personally I like being there until I get bored haha) but even with that I felt very satisfied and like it was enough.

It was nice but I had better:) Be aware contrasts of temperature after treatment in a waiting area...warm tea would be a lot better too instead cold.

The Ağa hamami was recommended to us by a local who gave us the most delish food tour. The hamami is just the most beautiful building, it’s very old and feels like you have gone back in time. It takes you away from the business of Istanbul and transports you to a place of relaxation and calmness. An authentic Turkish experience. The sherbet and Turkish delight whilst wrapped in warm towels is just delightful.

This was such an amazing experience! The whole process was so relaxing and the beverage they give you after the scrub when resting was an added bonus! I recommended this place to other tourists I met on all my other activities after for the duration of my trip!
