Kerem was simply awesome. He was punctual to the minute! He rang me the day before to plan my experience. His knowledge of photography was vast. He had a friendly and supportive manner. He helped me push the boundaries such as approach and technique in street photography. It was a truly memorable day. I would definitely want to go out shooting with him again!

My photography tour of Istanbul with Kerem and Istanbul Photography Tours was a great adventure. From bustling streets and quiet neighborhoods to iconic landmarks and famous attractions, he unveiled an Istanbul far beyond a tourist experience.

Kerem’s ability to connect with novice shooters and seasoned photographers alike gave him the ability to provide insightful tips on composition, lighting, and storytelling. His knowledge of the city, keen eye for detail and knack for capturing fleeting moments gave me an opportunity to see an Istanbul I could never find by myself.

Our adventure allowed me to see Istanbul and learn about the city while capturing incredible images. If you want to explore and capture Istanbul’s spirit through a camera lens, I wholeheartedly recommend a photo adventure with Istanbul Photography Tours and Kerem.

This was a fantastic tour--I did it solo as an photo enthusiast with emphasis on city scapes and long exposure shots. We shifted the tour to later PM and toured through sunset on the Bosphorus. If you are tired of standard tours where you are rushed to get good photos, this is a great option where the photos and ideal locations/lighting are the emphasis. Sorry I could not share examples as the site was not accepting uploads.

Kerem provided an excellent overview of what makes a brilliant street photograph. We were able to review my photos from previous tours with him and Kerem assisted in editing then to a high visual impact and appeal. Priceless!

I was on a tour that ended in Istanbul but wanted a Lil more time so extended my stay for one more day. I enjoy photography so found Kerem & liked what he offered. This was a great experience. He takes you to see the real life Istanbul not the touristy spots. I gor to experience how everyday people live in Istanbul & where they live & work. His photography tricks were great. The way he sees the world & how to use light was very cool. He documents real life. I did wish I had stayed an extra day to do the touristy stuff but there is always next time. Thanks Kerem for a showing me your Istanbul. Can't wait to post my pictures.

Kerem is an excellent photography guide. He knows the best places in Istanbul and will tailor your experience with him to your specific needs. He is also very patient and a great teacher.

This tour with Kerem was excellent value. He was a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic host. He met my husband and I at our hotel and was patient and understanding with me as a novice photographer and gave me advice/tips on using different settings on my camera.
He introduced us to many different parts of this busy amazing city which we would definitely have never discovered on our own. We travelled by tram, train and ferry and had a truly wonderful time. The Grand Bazaar was amazing and Kerem helped me photograph ordinary people in every day situations like the fishermen on the bridges.
I have some great photos and memories of Istanbul thanks to Kerem and would highly recommend this photography tour. Thank you Kerem.

Kerem gave me a run for my money! haha...We originally planned 8 hours but I cut it down to 6 becuase I wanted to sleep in a bit. Still, he was able to show me several nooks and corners of Istanbul that I would NEVER had seen nor stumbled upon where I on my own or on a random tourist-trap-city-tour. Kerem has an eye for what would make a cool shot and is very quick with pressing the shutter button. He gave me lots of helpful tips to maximizing great photo moments and being quick about it. He gave me a lot of history/back story of all the many places we visited so the tour felt like a walking city tour + history tour + photography tour all in one....and here's the best part for me: Including tips on best places to eat. I tried them all and he was SPOT ON!

I got great shots, learned a lot, ate good food, saw interesting neighborhoods, and made a new friend! Imagine how much more I would have gotten if I didn't reduce the duration!

Kerem was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. From street photography tips to working the bugs with my camera. He knows the best places in Istanbul for photography and while exploring will point out great places to visit and eat. He is very patient and is really interested in teaching you. I was able to tailor my time with him ahead of my trip so i knew what gear to take. Fluent English with excellent communications. I cannot wait to come back and take another tour with him.

Had an excellent day with Kemel who is not only an excellent photographer but someone who intimately knows the streets and neighbourhoods of Istanbul. If you're looking for something beyond the usual type of tour I would highly recommend booking time with him.
