Oguzhan was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to walk around the highlights of Istanbul. I know it’s part of the job to stop at merchants to enable purchases, unfortunately the Ceramics merchant was selling the same Iznik gold plate Iznik Classicswas, near Blue Mosque, but 10,000 lira more.

What an historian!
I have been to many other countries in Europe and Asia and met dozens of tour guide with this tour i dint meet a regular tour guide but an absolute historian who loved his job and do it with passion. We spent few days in istanbul before the trip and had a chance to visit few shops and sites he gave us useful information about sites and places to shop!
His suggestion were the best and we have left istanbul with amazing memories!
I was surprised with amount of cats in old town and how each one knew him :)

Everything was great EXCEPT you will be brought to a couple specific overpriced shops where the salesmen will use manipulative and shady tactics to get you to buy, like offering you a beverage just before then trying everything to pressure you to buy, and the tour guide knows they will do this but does not warn you ahead of time so it must be a planned arrangement with the shop owners that he will bring his tourists to their shop.

It is a wonderful tour through the old city of Istanbul. Oguzhan is such a great guide: organized, knowledgeable, patient and with a good sense of humor. He professionally provided a lot of interesting information and insights into the Istanbul history and on the visited objectives. He also helped me to get a fast-track ticket for the Topkapi Harem, at the end of the tour. Thank you! The only suggestion I would made to the operator is shortening somehow the carpet shop visit and demonstration. But definitely I recommend the tour, as a dense and informative Istanbul experience.

Oguzhan gave us a wonderful and insightful perspective of Turkish history, he made it interesting and entertaining which we enjoyed tremendously. The tour started at 9am and ended at 5pm. While we covered alot of ground (pun intended), Oguzhan continues to amaze us with his patience and knowledge. He is extremely accommodating and inpresses us with his photography skills.

This was a very long day (and the last hour or so was rainy!) but definitely worth it! Our guide's (Oguzhan) English was excellent. He gave us great information on the history of the city and sites which made it really interesting! The lunch food was delicious. I could have done without the carpet demonstration (or maybe less time spent there), but overall would highly recommend!

Our guide Ozzy was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and he took us around all the most important places to see in the old town Sultanhamet. Ozzy really brought things to life with his knowledge and explanation and we got so much more out of this tour than if we had tried to do it ourselves. He knew how to manage the day so that we saw things at the best times, avoiding any long queues. We were in a nice small group and we managed to see so much. The tour was varied and the lunch great.

Ozzie was a fabulous guide! Knew exactly when to take us to each site knowing when the crowd would be more manageable. The lunch that was provided was terrific. Five stars!
