Joined the 3 day tour to Isle of Skye from Edinburgh, but we opted for a private tour because we were traveling with an infant. Overall though, our experience would pretty much be the same because we did not deviate much from the usual 3-day tour to Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, and Scottish Highlands that Timberbush offers.
Our 3-day private tour booked with Timberbush with Kenny was amazing! Kenny is an overall a great guy and an even more amazing tourguide! He made sure we got to see all the great (and secret) spots and told the fantastic stories behind the sites & sights! We appreciate all the stories on top of showing us the different places we could visit. The beautiful music he especially curated for the tour is also an added bonus! He was also very patient and understanding, knowing we were traveling with seniors and a baby in the group. He could also quickly adjust and fix the itinerary according to how we are going about with our day.
The whole Timberbush Tours Team is also amazing, going above and beyond from us, from the moment we inquired until we got to meet Kenny. They helped us with our itinerary and even offered to help us out by letting Kenny fetch us at the airport and understanding possible itinerary changes when we experienced our flight delays. It was really an unforgettable trip with the best tour company and guide!
Would definitely recommend you to our friends and hope to get on another Timberbush Tour in the future!

Kenny was very funny, patient and engaging. He was super understanding and even picked us up at the airport after our flight was delayed. He also made reservations for a dinner at Portree so we would've have a hard time. He is a hilarious guide that you can have fun and joke around with. He also gave trivia and history about the different locations within Isle of Skye. Would definitely recommend getting Kenny if you're looking for good company and a fun time.

This was a fabulous tour that packed in a lot of sights into the 3 day itinerary lots of photo and comfort stops and excellent accommodation in Portree Steve our driver/guide was outstanding and highly committed to ensuring we all had a good time always planning ahead We were fortunate to have outstanding weather I can imagine the tour which is very nature based would be a different experience in poor weather conditions thank you Steve and Timberbush for an amazing time

I had a fantastic experience with this three day tour around Skye. The island is absolutely magnificent and we re very lucky with the weather, we managed to get sunny days! Also, I really liked our guide, Mark, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining, he is good with his historical facts and storytelling, and managed to make the trip very enjoyable (bonus points: he put on a great soundtrack for the trip).
He was driving safely (which is important, as we spent many hours on a vehicle crossi g narrow roads) and it made us fell very relaxed during the trip.
I must say I also enjoyed the B&B booked by Timberbush for me in Skye. The place was great, very cleaned and comfortable, and the owner is very friendly.
The whole trip was great, and I was sorry it was over! It does make me want to come back to Skye!

Our guide, Noah Brown, was most knowledgeable and congenial. Noah gave a nice balance of audio description and history of sites we were to visit as well as plenty of low-volume music (with a connection to Scotland) between. Be prepared to do some walking (mostly under 0.3 miles, but one that was a bit longer). We spent two nights on Isle of Skye at a nice 3-star hotel, that was included in our tour package. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour and guide.

I was concerned about booking a multi day tour as I’m a bit of a control freak. Would there be room for our luggage on the bus…. Would the bus be comfortable… would the tour be worth the money… I worried for nothing!
First and foremost, Jada, our tour guide was spectacular! She was kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful and was a fantastic storyteller!
Some passengers had hotel hiccups (for hotels they booked themselves) and she magically solved them. Another passenger was looking for a particular type of whiskey to buy and she found it for him! There was nothing she couldn’t do! Jada told us wonderful stories about the highlands and she even told us some fairy stories, which were my favorite.
Beyond Jada, the tour itself was wonderful. While some of it was structured, Jada left room for us to choose some spots to visit based on what we were interested in! The tour hit the highland highlights and also brought us to some other wonderful places that were unexpected and fantastic… ie: a dinosaur museum and a spot to taste whiskey ice cream!
One thing to note: Portree isn’t equipped to handle the number of tourists it has so it is impossible to get into a restaurant without a reservation made way in advance. Make dinner reservations as soon as you book the tour. It’s important!

It was interesting, exciting, very funny, great accommodation and above all Tom and his love for the job and offering his guests the best possible experience really won me over!

My wife and I did the 3 day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye with Connor as our tour guide. He was very helpful and informative, telling us stories about Scotland's history and the myths of the past about giants and other such interesting creatures. I have no hesitation in recommending Connor as a top-class tour guide. My only recommendation is that Connor mix up his playlist for future reference.
