The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

The set up of this class was super casual but completely safe. The class was limited to four people, which made total sense and gave us plenty of room. Our instructor was awesome and explained each step of the process. It only took about an hour for the four of us so plenty of time to plan around the rest of the day.
We had our creations shipped so it will be interesting to see the finished product

This was the first time we had tried anything like this. Austin was absolutely amazing and made it such a fun experience. We all had a lot of fun and a great memory was made with my family. I would highly recommend The Melting Point.

What a GREAT Experience ! Austin the owner/operator was a fantastic instructor. Knowledgeable, fun, friendly. Facility was wonderful. This was a bucket list for me….and I think I will be back for more!

The entire experience was cool! Something we always wanted to do. It was a birthday gift for someone who wanted an experience rather than a gift. The great thing about it is that you come home with a gift as well as an awesome experience. Highly recommended!

We greatly enjoyed the opportunity to make our own glass items. The instructor was amazing and really took her time with us. When we picked up the pieces we were amazed! Fun, enjoyable and beautiful! I can’t remember our instructor’s first name, but her middle name was Rose. She was so informative and really took her time with us! Loved her! Highly recommended!!!!!! 11/10!

This was an amazing class!! This was my first time working with glass so I had no idea what I was doing. My instructor was Alexa Rose and she was Fantastic!! She guided us through every step and explained everything we were doing, offering tips and suggestions for color choices so our pieces would turn out how we envisioned them. She was very patient, upbeat, informative, and had a great personality and sense of humor. She made the whole experience so fun! I made a flower and a bowl, so interesting to see the different steps and techniques involved in making each one! I highly recommend this class regardless of experience. You can pick up your piece the next day or have it shipped to you for $20, I had it shipped and it came packaged very well so it wouldn’t get damaged and it arrived quickly.

Great time creating a glass flower. Although it's advertised as an introduction to glass blowing, you don't actually do this. Alexa Rose was an excellent teacher, staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
