Stonehenge was amazing. It was a windy day and cloudy but the sun peeked out every so often and gave us some amazing shots. It was great to have our shoes off with toes in the grass and being so near to the stones with so few people around. We mostly took the trip so we could do the inner circle tour but also enjoyed BATH and LACOCK more than we expected to.

Most tours only allow one to be on the outside of the roped off area looking at the amazing stones from a distance. This tour truly gets you up close and personal with this amazing site!! We were warned not to touch, lean on or lick (eww...who would do that???) the stones, but we truly were close enough to them that we had to be careful not to accidentally brush against one. We did a sunrise tour and were surprised to be on a bus with about 60 people, when we had read that it was limited to 30 people. However, upon arrival we were broken into two groups and one group was able to walk on the outside of the ropes and gaze at this amazing site from a distance, while the other group goes inside and literally stands amongst the stones. After a time, the groups switch. My photos are so spectacular and with a little patience and strategic planning and angling, MANY of my photos have no one in them at all or ONLY have my husband and I. It was such an intimate and special way to take in this historic site. Much to my delight there was more than enough time to truly capture the memories I wanted from this tour. We didn't feel rushed and it was mesmerizing to stand within the actual inner circle of the stones. It was worth the price we paid and was a wonderful tour. We enjoyed the quaint little town of Lacock and then we ended our day at the Roman Baths. However, our tour guide had warned us that everything would pale in comparison to the experience we had at Stonehenge and she was, of course, correct!!! Definitely worth the price and getting up and boarding the bus in the dark! This is a tour we will never forget!!!!

Overall, a very good trip, but I had NO IDEA that there would be 50 of us jammed on a hot, crowded bus or that, for this money, they wouldn’t give us a bottle of water (instead charging for it in cash)! Please fix these things. Also, extend the stay in Bath by starting the trip an hour earlier.

This was our favorite tour!! Our tour guide, Carol, was so knowledgeable and helpful. It is definitely worth it to pay extra for the Stonehenge inner circle experience!! The time we spent in the circle of stones was awe inspiring. The village of Lacock was exactly what you want to see in a village, and we enjoyed a great breakfast at the Inn. We had plenty of time to tour Bath, which was also an amazing experience.

What an experience, visiting Bath, Stonehenge, and then Lacock. We did the evening tour which started at 11 am. Our guide, Peter, kept us entertained during the bus ride providing commentary on sights we passed as well as historical facts which made the sometimes long stretches go by quicker. He also took the time to talk and get to know everyone on the tour. He was also more than willing to help take pictures at the different location (Our driver, Tyrone, was also great, and helped people take pictures at Stonehenge). Bath was amazing and suggest doing the self guided tour of the bath house, however the highlight of the tour was Stonehenge. We arrived just as they closed the site off to the public and took our group of 30-40 people inside the inner circle where we spent the next hour with an archeologist that explained the history and answered all our questions. For anyone that has this as a bucket list item, this tour is the one to do! Afterwards we had dinner in a pub in Lacock, the fish and chips there was quite good. Overall this was well worth it for us and we had a great time.

This was the most incredible experience and the highlight of our trip to England!! We started the trip on a great, comfortable bus with a great guide. First stop was Bath where we visited the Roman Baths and then wandered the town a bit. Highly recommend to Cornish Pastry shop; they were cheap and delicious. Next stop was the George Inn in the town of Lacock. Since we were doing the sunset town, the Lacock Abbey as closed when got to town. That’s alright - it gives me another reason to go back. Dinner at the Inn was great and the staff were super nice. The last stop was Stonehenge. The bus arrives after regular visitor hours so go have the place to yourself. We were accompanied buy an Archeologist the whole way and he told us all about the history of the site and what they are doing now to preserve it. He was patient and took time to answer all of our questions. You’re not allowed to touch the stones but just being there right next to them is awe-inspiring. This truly was the highlight of our entire vacation.

Being at Stonehenge without the crowd and having time to wander and take pictures inside the circle (with cooperative weather) was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip to the UK. We also really enjoyed Andrew's British sense of humour and his fearlessness in making us the butt of some of his jokes. We hadn't originally chosen entrance to the Roman baths as part of our excursion to Bath but are glad we decided to go into the exhibition. The old inn at Lacock was an enjoyable place to have dinner.

Traveling amongst a younger friend group, the tour guide Annamaria made it known that the predisposition toward us was unfavorable from the beginning. She made an effort to be extremely kind and accommodating to all the older people, except towards us. We noticed this immediately and made extra effort to change her obvious bias, with no avail.
Although she was unfortunately curt towards us, in a general setting, gave a terrific tour. She is witty, full of enlightening and helpful information, and makes sure to give all options for personalized experiences.
The Stonehenge inner circle was magical, and so much fascinating information was presented by all parties involved. The trip to Bath was stunning, but in hindsight, we would do it over again by going through the Roman baths with haste, then exploring the gorgeous city for the remainder of the time. You are given option to part with the group and stay in Bath, separate from the tour as they depart. The separate transit is a minimum of fifty Pounds though, and ultimately, we decided to opt away from parting. Would definitely recommend, just to be weary of the bias if you are in a younger group.
