Erika of Signature DMC was very helpful and responsive to our needs before and during our trip to Iguazú falls. I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone planning a trip to Iguazú falls.

Kudos to Signature Tours for handling all aspects of our experience beautifully: pickup, flight, hotel, tour and back again to Buenos Aires. My sister and I had just arrived in Argentina two days earlier so it was wonderful to not have to deal with travel issues while still sorting out unfamiliar language, money, etc. Signature always answered the phone when I wanted to check on the driver picking us up at the airport or checking for a lost item on the bus. Our guide was wonderful and eager to point out the differences between Argentina and Brazil in their attitude towards the environment. He had a great sense of humor too. Mercure was the hotel, top-notch and great food. We chose to take a Full Moon walk which is only offered a few days each month and it was stunning. Our travel agent had flagged that possibility. The hotel is set in the forest so we weren't able to see what Iguazu itself is like as our one overnight was spent at the Argentine side of the Falls for the nighttime walk. Our hotel in BA was inexpensive enough that leaving cruise luggage behind and not needing a late checkin maximized our few days in Buenos Aires. I had angst over deciding between a two or three trip and even though it was an extremely late return, it was worth using our time that way.

My partner and I were very keen to make this trip to see the falls, and they did not disappoint! The 2 day trip leaves plenty of time for the Brazilian and the Argentine side of the falls which are spectacular! The adventure boat ride is worth it so add that to your trip.

What worked well:
- pick up and drop off from Buenos Aires was timely, with courteous driver in a luxury car. The rest of the trip is by van or bus.
- boarding passes for flights were provided
- migration at brazil border was managed without us having to get off the bus
- Team was responsive before the trip but difficult to contact during the trip. The tour guide was not contactable at all - he found you!

Watch out for:
- the timings are not provided beforehand - ask for clarification and get a flight for around 9.30 am. We were told we needed to leave at 4.30 am for a 7 am flight so we could start our half day brazil trip as soon as we reached the hotel in Iguazu. In actuality, we waited for almost 5 hours at the restaurant (where we dozed off !!) because the trip was not planned to start until 2 pm. Hotel check in is not until 3 pm.
(We suspect the morning flight was cheaper which is why we were herded on it).
The trip to the falls in brazil is only about 3 hours but needless to say, we had an unnecessarily exhausting first day.
- the other thing to note is that they do not provide guided tours at the falls- our guide basically pointed us in the right direction and waited for us. There was none of the explanation of flora fauna etc described with reviews of some of the other tours. If that is important to you, find another tour company.
- we were encouraged to book the adventure tour and boat ride through them saying it was cheaper - we paid 85USD when the local cost was 60,000 pesos. Tickets are easy enough to get on the spot.

A memorable trip which could have been much more enjoyable if it had been managed better.

The falls are amazing. We did the Brazilian side first (We felt it was the best). We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the airport. My only criticism is that we were dropped off at the airport with no explanation as to where to go (we assumed we were going to be meeting a group or be escorted to our final destination That was not the case but we figured it out and had time and freedom to eat what/where we wanted). When we got off the plan we were met by a driver and a group of us were driven by a small bus to our hotel. We arrived before check-in time so we left our bags and headed by small buss to the falls. We had the opportunity to stop and see the falls from helicopter (this is an extra fee) but truly amazing (do it) then we drove through customs and crossed into Brazil. Once at the falls we walked down from the parking area to the falls. You get lots of different views. You can even walk out into the falls on a bridge at the base of one of the falls where you feel the spray and get pretty wet. We were given plenty of time at the falls. On the way back to the hotel we stopped for a shot time to look for souvenirs. At the hotel we checked-in and had dinner. Our hotel had a pool so bring your bathing suit. Dinner was not included in the price. The rooms were nice but beware of the mosquitos!! The next day we had breakfast (included in the price) and ventured to the Argentine side of the falls. We walked to the falls viewing areas (a fair amount of walking). The guide gave us options about which paths to take depending on the amount of walking members of the group want to do. We were able to purchase snacks and beverages within the park. Beautiful sights! But e were there in Feb and it was hot and humid. Take plenty of water. We were given the option of a boat ride into the falls (not included in the price). We did not do this but were told it was great and worth while - it required a hike to get to the water's edge. We were taken back to the airport that afternoon. We were met by a driver back in Buenos Aires who took us to our hotel. Again, we were on our own at the airport. Some folks stayed on for a flight back to Buenos Aires the next day. I don't think staying another night was necessary. During the planning stage we had good communication through Viator emails with the company that plans the trip. It was well worth doing. To see both sides it is necessary to stay over night.

One of The best trips we've ever taken from pickup to drop off, there is not enough space to sing their praises here.
Although we were only in Iguazu for one night the hotel although suficent could have been better, i would have preferred a choice such as the Iguazu Grand Hotel, Dinner their was excellent and a very reasonable price
Only one hic-cup on the return journey to Buenos Aires, Areolineas Argentinias claimed our ticket was not valid & we had to pay a further $140.00, no choice but to pay. i emailed the tour operator whilst in the departure lounge, they refunded the money into my account within the hour.
Sometimes things go wrong but it was handled in a prompt and profesional manner so hats off to them. To this day neither the tour operator or myself know what was wrong with the ticket

First and foremost, we have to commend Erika from Signature Tours. She was helpful, friendly, attentive, thoroughly, and in 1 word EXCEPTIONAL! The other staffs were nice too, picked up and dropped off were on time. The tour company asked me to install and communicate with them via WhatsApp, which was well-used throughout the tour.
My husband forgot his bag on the bus after the tour and we contacted Erika when we found out and she contacted the local tour operator to locate his bag and had them bring it when they came to drive us to the airport back to Buenos Aires.
We had an early flight, picked us from hotel at 4 am, got to Iguazu Airport at 8:45 am and had to wait 30 minutes to be picked up! So we complaint that we had to wait from 9 am from the hotel, couldn't get into our room, until 1:30 pm for the tour to the falls on Brazil side. Tour company found us an available local tour guide (Maria Antonowicz) and driver to take our group at 11 am instead! We loved Maria, she was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. She reminded us our schedule for the next day and offered to be available for any question we should have the rest of our trip.
For the hotel, it's nice, spacious, great fresh food.
Overall, the tour was costly but if you can afford it, shouldn't miss it.

Erika at Signature did all the work/plan for us so we only had to show up and enjoy the Amazing experience with the falls. Staying 1 night is enough to see both sides of the falls. Our trip was beyond expectation.

This was a wonderful side trip from Buenos Aires. The falls are so huge and powerful. This two day tour was just the length of time at the falls. We saw the falls from the Brazilian side the first day and Argentine side the second. We were able to take the top of the falls trail and bottom of the falls trail in the morning and the boat ride through the falls in the afternoon before heading to our flight home. Our tour guide for both days was Ariel and he spoke very good English and helped us arrange the van from the park instead of the hotel so we could take the boat trip. The local tour company was also responsive to our questions. We had 3 hours upon arrival at the hotel, YVY which was beautiful, and the first tour. The girl had a nice pool but we didn’t know to bring our bathing suits - so a suggestion is to pack one if you can.
