Riding the Icelandic horse is must-do at least once during your visit. It connects you to Icelandic history and allows you to experience the most authentic travel method there is in Iceland. Lava tour is a more popular and ideal adventure for beginners as well as experienced. During the tour you will ride in beautiful landscape with the view of lava, lakes, and mountains around you. For 1.5 to 2 hours, or 4 hours with transfer, your tour offers you a relaxing coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Included are riding helmets, rubber boots, rain wear, or warm outfit for your ride.

What a fantastic experience, to ride the most beautiful horses and to do it in the snow was something I never expected to do. It was absolutely fantastic.

This is a must-do if you go to Iceland. The horses are playful, beautiful, and a delight to ride. The guide team are great! They’re experienced, so gentle with the horses and super reassuring if you’re not the most experienced rider. There are two options: fast group and slow group. Both will take you on the most beautiful scenic rides Iceland has to offer. The ride ends with a delicious hot chocolate and a cuddle with the horses. Heaven!

We had a great time with this tour. This was the first horsebacking riding tour where they allowed for a fast more adventurous group as well as a slow group. We were all beginner level riders and was still able to join the fast group where we learned how to do the Icelandic horse trot. I also learned a great deal about the Icelandic horse. They are very curious creatures with a sweet natured heart and adorable personalities. We even got to spend some time afterwards with the horses and take videos and photos. Would definitely recommend this tour and ranch.

From the pick up through the experience, and to the drop off, it was five stars! Everyone was pleasant & extremely professional. They provided warm drinks a beautiful place to get ready as well as warm, sturdy clothing to wear while riding. The Icelandic horses were amazing creatures. We even got to trot!
This is by far the best horseback trail riding experience I have had.

Had a lovely time with this group. The guides were very nice and helpful. Beautiful animals, very easy to ride but still have personality. It's snowed while we were out which made it a very beautiful and magical experience.

This was a great experience. Helpful friendly staff. The ride split into groups for novice & experienced riders, to cater for all levels. Amazing scenery & I learned a lot about the breed of horse (pony). Hats & Outdoor clothing provided. Warm drink at the end was very nice touch.
