My husband and I are big comedy fans and went to comedy shows often when living in the US so maybe we are a tough critics, but we just thought it was 'okay'. It seemed like 30 minutes of good comedy material made into a 70 minute show by adding lots of very long facial expressions, periods of time where Olivier imitates dance moves, and a couple of instances of audience participation where they demonstrate what he has taught us. That being said, are we still glad we went? Yes. As expats comedy fans living in Paris there isn't much in the way of comedy in English so we appreciated what it had to offer. The question and answer at the end was unique and gives you a chance to see Olivier in a more personal way than just 'the act'. He was also really good at using audience interaction to make jokes on the fly and even incorporate them into the act.

This was a great way to start out our Paris vacation. Both the venue and comedian was excellent. Just do it.

Although the cliches were obvious, it would have been better if it was weaved into a story, rather than bullet points type of presentation.

Olivier is an exceptionally talented performer. I haven’t laughed so much in ages. His facial expressions, and quick wit cannot be matched. A wonderful night out for my first time in Paris, Meredith, Perth, Western Australia

Olivier was spot on hilarious on being a Parisian and the outlook they have on Americans/foreigners. He engaged the audience very well. It was a good icebreaker with our 4 older teens on our first night in Paris.

The show was fun, although it employed a few too many clichés. It is a good activity for a couple, but it is not appropriate for children.

This show is really disappointing, it's cliché after cliché! I didn't find it funny at all and I think it's a real mistake to perpetuate these eternal clichés today. And it's not just clichés about Parisians, it's also clichés about different nationalities depending on who's in the audience. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone, but I'm not surprised it's a hit, because most people like to believe clichés, don't they?
