Registered for PreViaje. This excursion is suitable for people with no riding experience and also more accomplished riders who can canter through the vines. Most horseback excursions in Mendoza are a rustic experience in the mountains at least 90 minutes from the city. We do this is through a vineyard 30 minutes from the city and the lunch is a sumptous gourmet feast with high quality wine pairings. The horseback ride is 90 minutes in duration through the vineyards of Southern Maipu, followed by a gourmet lunch at Divina Marga restaurant and wine cellar. We begin the excursion at a stables in Lunlunta and take a route through vineyards, leafy country lanes and the dry river bed of the Rio Mendoza. We then sit down to a gourmet asado (Argentine bbq) which involves multiple courses meal and wines in the beautiful setting of a country mansion.

My guide, Ezekiel was exceptional. He knew the area very well. The horseback riding was e joyable and the area so beautiful. Horses were calm but active. Loved every moment. And the lunch at the end was memorable in a restaurant and winery called Tapiz. Truly memorable.

It was a great horse trail ride through the neighbouring vineyards with gentle horses, stunning views and knowledgeable guides who provided just the right amount of information. Next a gastronomical meals with wine. Samples paired with our choice of starter, entree, fabulous deserts, finished with a coffee fresh and hot with a sweet tidbit. Thank to to our server Luisa at Club Tapiz and our guide Exequiel Quiro and our driver for a fabulous day!

Awesome tour, would definitely recommend! The whole experience was very well organized, and our guide was very energetic and knowledgeable. We also typically don't have high expectations for food on an organized tour, but the gourmet lunch really was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We also got lucky that we had a good group of travelers from around the world, and the conversation over lunch was very interesting. Would definitely do this tour again if I return to Mendoza - the company was so easy to work with and the people at the company all brough positive, upbeat energy to the experience.

Spectacular experience, I went with my mother, a 73-year-old woman, I enjoyed it very much, the guide and the companion were very kind and friendly, the landscapes and the view of the vineyards were spectacular, 100% recommended

Our guide was wonderful. The ride is a lot longer than I expected and the horses all have their own personalities. And the food at the end of the day was INCREDIBLE.

Ricky was a great host from Trout and Wine, and Cesar and Elío were fantastic and very patient with us, as we hadn't ridden in 20 years. The lunch following was out of this world. I highly recommend this tour.

Me and my wife done the horse riding tour and absolutely loved every minute of it, everything went smoothly from being picked up from our Accommodation to our tour guide being really informative. The horse riding was so ice and relaxed trotting through the vineyards. The food and wine we got from the restaurant was absolutely unbelievable probably the nicest meal we got in Argentina being honest.
Ps. Apologies I'm after forgetting our guides name but he was so helpful and really informative about everything we were doing

This is experience was beyond anything we expected, truly! We were promptly picked up at our airbnb by Tessa ( I highly recommend you to ask for her ) we were taken to a Ranch were Elliot was expecting us with 2 beautiful Horses, horses were kind, lovely and well trained. The Ranch Horse Guide Elliot was very friendly and kind to us and the Horses, we rode them for about 1 hour through a beautiful circuit where we took many pictures. Once were were done Tessa was waiting for us to to take us to “ AGOSTINO WINERY “ as soon as we arrived we felt in love with Landscape and how insane were the views of this winery. They welcomed us with a glass of Rose, took us to the Terrace to enjoy our wine we then were invited to our table at the and the feast started. The staff served family style antipasto paired with a Spumante as we were having lovely conversation with Tessa who was in charge of our experience and on top of every detailed. After several antipasto were served, the staff brought us appetizers paired with Chardonnay.
By the time the main course arrived ( I’ve order a a Ribeye steak Milanese ) we were already full but of course we made room for it. Agostino’s finest red were paired with it. I highly recommend this Tour please ask for TESSA she was on top of everything, extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional.

Horseback tour was really fun and showed us the back country of Mendoza. The gauchos were very informative and gave us a true backcountry Argentina experience. The tour guides were extremely nice and answered all of our questions very politely. The vineyard restaurant we stopped at to drink wine/ eat lunch was the best food we had in Argentina. Definitely would try this again if we come back.
