Great captains who were polite, patient and really knew how to maneuver the boats! My only complaint would be that the first morning boat left from central station and didn’t get to the station by the museums for an hour and a half, which was walking distance from our hotel. Perhaps they could have a couple of boats leave earlier so they could pick up passengers at the museum station at 9:30 and another station too!

Hard time getting our tickets. Once we did it was a beautiful ride on the boat. The bus cannot get into the heart of the city. Way too tight. But everything is a short walk away. The canal boat takes you to almost everywhere you want to be. Loved this tour for our last day in Amsterdam.

Good way to cover the city. Adding the canal portion would bring you closer to several landmarks. Keeps you off the bike paths which are wider than the sidewalks. Bikers are reckless and will zip right by you.

We went to the main office and the tour guide directed us to the boat stop. It was easy and convenient right by central station. However, other stops are a bit more hard to find due to the sign ordinances. We always enjoy the hop on buses. This route was a bit short but with the boat trip, it added another experience.

At the cruise terminal this company are the first you see when you are leaving the ship. 37 euros is a bargain for combination bus and canal boat we thought but how wrong we were.
The canal boat is picked up next to the terminal but as a previous post said it came round the corner and turned round and left without picking us up. After a hour we had enough and got on the hop on bus which had a plastic top so was like being In a greenhouse. We jumped off and found a refreshment stop and then by luck my friend saw the boat stopping by a bridge. The boat is the best part of the trip by far. Save money and just do the boat trip and make sure you pick up a map with the stopping points on it. Don’t do the combination it really is t worth it

We use this service when we travel and overall the organization and clarity of the stops and team was not as good as other cities. I would recommend doing both the bus and canal. While the stops are mostly duplicate the view from the canal is wonderful.

Very hard to find the Bus. No visible Hop on Hop off Buss signs. We ended up takiing a taxi back to the hotel. Only the boat ride was a little bit better!

Don’t waste your money & time!
We got off the cruise ship & was told we could pick the boat up very near by.
We joined a que of people who had been waiting a while for the boat. The boat finally arrived and it was to full it turned away and carried on the route picking no one up. We then waited for the next boat who simply did not turn up & skipped the pick up point all together. (Following via the app). We then gave up completely as we waited over 1 hour by this point even though they are supposed to arrive every 25 minutes.
We headed up to the bus station to find yet again another massive Que of people waiting.
After another 20 minutes of waiting we managed to get on a bus. We sat up the top which has a clear plastic roof. Felt like I was being cooked alive, in a green house. So hot, airless, awful!
We got off at a stop we didn’t even want to stop at as it was unbearable! Simply couldn’t sit on that bus another second.
We eventually managed to pick up a boat after searching for the pick up/drop off points. - we were given absolutely no information as to where these hop on hop off points were so it was pot luck if you found one.
Terrible service. Would not recommend.

Clean bus, good comments, on time, but a little to find the stop location in the Central Train Station area. It took us 1 mile of walking yo finally find the stop😩.

U have no idea where the stops are other than a generality from the map. You wait a long time for the bus. There’s no speaker telling u about the city or the next stop. You rely on earphones with very low volume. Boring
