Getting to Hobbiton, it was even more spectacular than I had thought. Our guide was so awesome, very kind, asked all of our questions. Went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was all well organized. Best part was the onsite Hobbiton tour. Our driver Grant was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly with good commentary on the NZ country side and animal evolution.

The tour as a whole was very organized. It was a comfortable and amusing ride to Hobbiton. Thanks to Don who entertained us with some Māori songs and a bit of New Zealand history. He has a beautiful voice! I followed his tip and sat at the right side just behind the bus driver and the view was amazing!
Visiting Hobbiton is a dream come true. Having seen the magic of Hobbiton, I can honestly say that I made the right choice with Cheeky Kiwi.
I just wish we had more time taking photos. I felt that we had to rush because other tour groups are coming right behind us already.
The ginger ale served at the green dragon inn was perfect. Must try!
And that ice cream stop on the way back to Auckland was just so refreshing after a long day!

The guide is really informative. And the timing is good for people who travel from Auckland. It’s worth a long drive. I was hoping to get a bit of sleep before arriving at the scene, but there’s so many things that keep me awake…

Hobbiton was a truly beautiful experience, particularly for fans of the movies. Watching The Hobbit films before visiting the set is highly recommended, as it adds to the relatability of the experience. Our tour guide, Don, made the journey even more enjoyable with his delightful personality.
