Highly recommend!!! Our family of 10 was lucky enough to have a private tour with the best guide…Damien “Local Boy”. The weather was beautiful and the trip was smooth from start to finish! Being born and raised in Maui, Local boy is the best person to have as your guide, he knew everything about the island, from the flowers to the birds to the locals. The road to Hana is a must while visiting the island. At the end of our tour our group could not stop talking about the day with the “Local boy”. And the road to Hana!

Our guide Shawn was fantastic! He gave us great information not just about the tour landmarks but also the island in general. He gave clear expectations for when we would be stopping and gave us plenty of time to get ready for pictures while driving and while at stops!

My driver made this tour. Very experienced and knowledgeable.
I would not recommend this tour.
It is all day in a vechicle on windy, mountainous roads. You are sure to be very motion sick.
It should be stressed more, all rain forest, woods.

The views were amazing. I was part of a small tour, only 3 of us with our guide. I feel we got to see everything we were supposed to and some additional things not on the list. Our tour guide was exceptional and attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this tour to all visitors to the island!

Excellent tour with Sean . He was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, cautious with driving the narrow roads and professional. He shared his knowledge of Maui, the beautiful, tropical rainforest, and throughly explained what we would see.
We enjoyed the different stops.. waterfalls, turtles, banana bread, black sand beach. We enjoyed the small group of 12. He was alert for car sickness (612 turns to get there) plus helpful when one passenger was injured on a lava rock. The sub sandwiches were huge and delicious.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The van picked us up at 6:30 AM and dropped off back the hotel around 4:00 (very long day). We were the last ones into the van and first ones off. The A/C worked well. At times some of the passengers were a bit ripe, so added ventilation should be considered.
The tour itself brought us to some great sites, in particular 3 beaches with the waves smashing on the rocks, the black sand beach, and a surfers' beach where turtles were resting on the shore. Hana itself was disappointing, as you don't stop on the tour and there is nothing to see. We just circled around and continued on the trip. We also enjoyed the banana bread stop and the rainbow eucalyptus trees.

They have double checked with me every details, and they are so flexible, they offered a pick up in front of our airbnb. We received e-mail response so fast from the Team, also in the early morning and late night as well.The drivers and the views are amazing! The drivers were locals with so many great stories and with great driving skills. Absolutly worth tour, I recommand it to everyone :) It was a great experience!

Wendy was a great tour guide. Since she grew up in Hana and learned at a early age to drive the roads she was a great driver! She knew so many people along the tour. She spent the appropriate time at each stop. Wendy had many stories to tell during the tour because of she grew up there. She was funny and knowledge. One of the best Hawaiian tour guides we had!

Emma was very kind and helpful! 100% would recommend going on this tour! Just take extra precautions if you get motion sickness. Hana road is a doozy! There were plenty of stops to rest.
