Dana was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on quite a few tours all over the world. She’s very sweet, personable, engaging, and told stories about the history of the historic center that brought the streets and food to life. She grew up in Mexico City, and truly knows its history. I would not have been able to have such an enriching experience had I explored centro historico on my own. She navigated through the busy streets, knew all the shopowners, and they greeted us warmly in return. We truly felt immersed in the culture, and got to experience the caring hospitality of the Mexican people as well as learn historical insight. Loved the tour! Highly recommend, especially with Dana!

Josette, our host, was so wonderful to be with. She was very knowledgeable, and gave us so many interesting facts, even using photo flash cards! She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the food, and also kind and caring. What a fun and enjoyable afternoon!

This was a really great experience! We had never done a food tour before and I wasn't sure which one to book. We stayed in Condesa so I thought this one would give us the opportunity to also see the old historic city center. Our guide, Kiomi was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. She took us to spots that we would never experience on our own. Definitely go hungry and pace yourself. We were all extremely full by the end of the tour.

Diverse range of foods and drinks, each well thought out and planned at some neat venues. Make sure you come hungry, as it serves up A LOT of food. As a coeliac I took a risk booking this and was not sure they got my note ahead, however they adapted well. Guide was fantastic, with great knowledge of her city and keen to share.

The tour is really well done and it’s a LOT of food. By the end we just could barely eat anymore. My husband ended up having an allergic reaction to the grasshoppers and we had to leave to find a pharmacy and get some Benadryl and our guide Tania was so nice to check on us. We finished the tour but no more grasshoppers for us!!

I highly recommend this tour . We had so much fun with Dana and Kio. Everything you read about is true . We really got the real Mexican experience, we learned about the culture, the foods, just everything that was out of the box that we wouldn’t have experienced without this tour . The girls were awesome and by the end they felt like friends. Come with an open mind and try all the food that there is to offer
