Emiko was an excellent tour guide. Kind, gentle and extremely accommodating. There was some confusion regarding what sites were included in our tour and Emiko was flexible and changed things around to make sure we were happy. She even went over the time limit of the tour to make sure we were able to get back to the train station safe. Thanks so much Emiko! Your kindness will remain in our hearts.

We had the most wonderful day exploring Hiroshima with our guide, Emmy, and our amazing driver. Emmy is an extremely knowledgable guide and was very patient with all of the history, cultural and daily life questions we asked. She has a warm, joyful spirit and was a lot of fun to spend the day with exploring everything from the beautiful temple on the mountain to the latest shopping mall, private yacht harbor and traditional market. We felt so fortunate to have been able to learn about Hiroshima from such a professional!

My husband and I did a tour with Nao to the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Nao was a wonderful tour guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a lot of history and interesting information to us. We learned so much about what happened and Nao kept us engaged and interested the entire time. Nao also went above and beyond by walking us to the train station and directing us where to go. I highly recommend visiting Hiroshima and this tour with Nao!

We booked a half day tour of Hiroshima that included a number of the peace exhibits, museum and historical landmarks. Our guide, Emiko-San, was absolutely fantastic, blending precise historical information with family history and stories. We were surprised to learn so much beyond what we had learned in advance from simple google searches, as Emiko gave us an understanding of life in Hiroshima before and after the A-Bomb, from the residents perspective. Another really nice aspect was Emiko asked if we were interested in any souvenir items and took us to a wonderful, authentic and affordable pottery shop that locals shop at as well as a charming paper store that you entered thru the back of a sunglasses store that also was authentic and not touristy. Then we had the most delicious lunch at an off-the-beaten path sushi restaurant. We have taken many similar tours in countries around the world, and both felt this was our absolute favourite based on how well thought out and presented the tour was by both Emiko and our driver. If you are able to book Emiko I would strongly recommend you do, although our mistake was booking a half day tour, if we could do it again we would do a full day.
