Yuko is great. We were greeted at the assigned place and time. She was prepared and happy. Her knowledge base is immense. Her experience by training and by personal experience make her unique in explaining everything. This tour covered the gardens, the bomb blast area, and the museum. Just perfect!

Yuko was a brilliant tour guide - she warmly greeted us from Hiroshima train station and walked us to our first destination on the tour. Her friendliness, knowledge and excellent English-speaking led to a memorable experience, delving into the history of a truly horrendous occurrence. We learned a great deal from Yuko, and would thoroughly recommend others to book.

Kahori was a most outstanding tour guide! She was so communicative during the whole process and was very accommodating, helpful and flexible due to some airline travel delays I experienced getting into Hiroshima. She was very knowledgeable and kind and simply fabulous as a guide. I recommend her whole heartedly.

We had a fascinating and educational tour of Hiroshima with Nobuyuki Ushio today. It was a honour to be informed about the history of Hiroshima from a person whose parents experienced the tragedy directly. Nob’s English is excellent and he answered all of our questions.

Nori was very friendly and helpful . There was a mix up regarding our meeting spot initially but that was my fault for sending the wrong address through . We quickly sorted that and communicated via what’s app well. Nori’s communication before the tour was good. We toured three sights which meant we did go through them quickly so we went back to the peace memorial museum the next day for a longer viewing. It was great to talk to a local and hear their perspective on life on Hiroshima. You could definitely do the sights yourself but we enjoyed learning about local life from Nori who was very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

I am so glad we traveled from Osaka for a day to take this tour. Our tour guide Sei was informative and able to keep the kids and adults involved. We stayed on schedule and learned about the history and significance of Hiroshima.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour and thought it was very worthwhile, in fact, one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Our guide was friendly, open to all questions and shared her personal perspective of the tragedy in Hiroshima in a way we found very powerful and informative. However, she was also good fun and we enjoyed the visit to the Orizuru tower for the wonderful views and learn how to make paper cranes. A moving but strangely positive afternoon that we would not have missed.
