We absolutely loved the tour. The food was excellent but Yuji, our tour guide, was the greatest part! So knowledgeable and so much fun. We learnt a heap about the local culture from him. Definitely recommend this tour! Money very well spent!

I wanted to share the fantastic experience we had on our food tour in Hiroshima with Naru – it was absolutely delightful! Here's a rundown of our experience:

Great tour. Yuji, our guide, was amazing, giving us lots of information about the food, the buildings, the atomic bombs and day-to-day Japan life. We were VERY full after the tour with all the food and drinks.

Had a wonderful time with Yuji who was helped provide recommendations for my stay in Hiroshima while he took care of everything on our tour. He also pointed out areas of interest along the way and answered every question. You won’t be disappointed!

Ichi was awesome he showed us some cool local bars with great food and chances to interact with the local community. Walking through town and joining the local nightlife scene help us get closer to Japanese people in Hiroshima.

Yuji & Hikaru were our hosts for the evening. A fun tour, and they weren’t kidding when they promised you’d be full by the end of the night!
We were in Nagarekawa area, and enjoyed a few different places, including Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, followed by multiple app/finger foods at a couple izakayas- each place with drinks (non-alcoholic drinks available by what each place offers, typically lemonades, teas, soft drinks etc).
Conversation was great- and our hosts answered candidly and offered personal stories and nuances to Hiroshima’s history. We were able to try a couple izakaya foods that we might not have thought to order. Really enjoyed our night!
