The tour was great. Jill was an excellent host - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of the group. We had a time schedule, but she was flexible as needed. The time of the trip being 5.5hrs versus some of the other tours, was a perfect amount of time, and it didn't feel rushed. Transportation was comfortable. Great time all around.

The sights were amazing! But I think what I enjoyed most about our day was Jill, our guide. Her knowledge of the island and the volcano was more than I could have ever expected. Her stories of the folklore engaged us all on the tour….it was so much fun. I have taken many tour thru Viator; my husband and I say this is a DONT MISS!

The views were incredible. Our guide very informative, gave great stories, history and experiences from his life on the island. He also told about the rich culture. The tour was well worth the cost and is highly recommended.

Being at the top of the volcano and seeing the terrain and steam was awesome. While we were there a local man was at the edge and I believe was praying to the goddess while we were there. The lava tube was also really cool. It was a great day and I was never worried about getting back to the ship on time.

The tour was a nice length since we flew over from Oahu. The tour hit highlights we wanted to see and Josh was absolutely awesome. He was so knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories. We can’t say enough about him. It was amazing how different the Big Island is from Oahu so 150% worth going over!

Fantastic tour. We had Jill as our guide and she was great!! So knowledgeable and full of stories to tell us. She was funny and interesting. I definitely recommend taking this tour. Saw some beautiful sites.
