Hiking tours in Santorini are ideal for hikers who want to lose themselves in nature. Santorini's walking tour from Fira to Oia is the most scenic trail, and it holds many unexpected delights. First, we drive you to our meeting point in Fira. Then, our excursion begins with hiking along the cliffside of the Caldera. Further, we will hike through the villages of Firostefani, Imerovigli, and finally, Oia.
This walking tour takes about 4-5 hours, depending on your walking tempo, how many stops you require, and how much you love taking pictures! Just keep going North.
Generally speaking, the distance we will cover in the Santorini hiking tour from Fira to Oia is almost 10km / 6 miles … ok, let’s say 15.000 unique and different steps. For most of the trail, we will walk near the edge of the Caldera.

Up close and personal way to see Santorini. The views were spectacular! Thoroughly enjoyed the hike. Our guide Gina was excellent. She knows a lot about the area and was happy to share her knowledge and answer questions. She was also great about suggesting ideal places for taking photos. The owner of the company came to pick us up in Oia after the hike. She is also very nice and personable. You can tell she wants to make sure all customers enjoyed their tour.
This tour does require a reasonable level of fitness, as the hike is 7 miles long and there’s an uphill segment.
After we returned we spoke to others who went on bus tours. They were not able to see the sights from a bus that we saw on our hike. Very happy we took the hike!

We went to Greece and completed many tours but this hiking tour was by far the absolute best! Amani was knowledgeable and informative. Great personality!!! She kept a good pace so that all were included. I highly recommend this tour! The bus driver, George was so good that we used him for other travel arrangements.
