1. Le Jardin Secret - Medina - Marrakech
Your Private City Tour starts at the enchanting and picturesque Jardin Secret, one of the most popular attractions in Marrakech, and it is for good reasons. Let yourself take a break from the frantic pace of the Red City and enjoy the delicate fragrance filling the air in this refreshing oasis. Note: If you choose the Full Package option, Skip-the-line tickets will be provided for your convenience, to avoid the long queue.
2. Gueliz
On your way to the Medina, you'll pass by the 'new city', the modern side of Marrakech. The area was designed & built by the French in the early 1900s, and is today the thriving heart of the Red city, where you can spot popular international brands and fine cafés. You'll also pass by its main avenue, that we love to call "the Champs Elysées of Marrakech".
3. Koutoubia Mosque
You'll then start your visit of the old town at the Koutoubia Mosque, a key piece in Morocco’s history, built during the 12th century under the Almohad Dynasty. Its minaret remains the tallest building in Marrakech so it can be visible from almost everywhere in the city, like a guiding star, helping you to get directions when you're lost.

Next, you'll visit the exquisite Bahia Palace that fascinates everyone by its fine Moorish architecture, gorgeous ceramic tiles and the majestic beauty of its colors.

Then, you'll walk through a very interesting part of the Medina, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), which will help you understand the important role of the Jewish culture and community in developing the unique identity of Marrakech & Morocco.
7. Bab Agnaou
If you wish, you'll go inside one of the city's well-reputed herbal stores, where you can learn everything you want to know about herbs, spices and essential oils while having a Moroccan mint tea and some local pastry. Then, you'll continue your way towards Bab Agnaou, one of the nineteen gates of Marrakech and the main entrance to the Royal Kasbah.

There, we'll invite you to a unique cultural trip back in time to discover two points of interest: 1/ the Farnatchi, where you can uncover the process of heating the water in traditional public steam baths, called hammams, which dates back to Roman times; the Farnatchi is also where some locals still bring their dishes (especially the typical Tanjia) to be slowly cooked in a wood-fired oven; 2/ an age-old bakery where artisanal bread is still cooked the old fashioned way;

Afterwards, it'll be time to wander through the fascinating labyrinths of the world's most vibrant and colorful open-air marketplace: The Souks of Marrakech. Between bazaars full of charm & character, stalls packed with mysterious potions, colorful piles of spices, essential oils, exquisite hand-knotted rugs... you'll get to visit the leather souk, workshops of traditional woven Moroccan carpets & handmade Berber boucherouite (rugs), brass lamps & lanterns gallery, and so much more! After arriving in Marrakesh, we did a half day tour around the city. Our guide was Rachid. He was absolutely fantastic.
His passion and enthusiasm for his country and his culture, was contagious. The tour was a mixture of walking and driving, with lots of time to ask questions to do some shopping and to admire all that is Marrakesh. I would highly recommend doing this tour and even more so with Rachid. Thank you so much

Yaya was our brilliant guide around all the different areas of Marrakesh. He was knowledgeable, informative and funny. We saw how they heat the hammams, the communal bread ovens as well as the beautiful Bahia Palace, Secret Garden, the maze of the souks, and the mosques. His funny anecdotes in excellent English made this an excellent morning trip. Would highly recommend.

If you’re debating booking this tour, do it now! My husband and I booked on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had less than a day in Marrakesh and with this tour we hit so many great spots in a short amount of time and did not feel rushed. Our favorite part of the tour was our guide Yaya. He was an amazing guide, provided great detail, and we felt like we were with a celebrity. Everywhere we went various community members stopped to say hello. He was kind of like the Mayor and gave us a more authentic version of Marrakesh than I believe we would have received otherwise. We’d book another tour with him anytime. Ayub our driver was also great.

Hassan our tour guide was the best. V patient and v polite.
A trip worth it.
We got to see around some historical places and explore the moraccan culture too. Shaffu was the happiest to have the experience.

The whole tour was an experience that exceeded our expectations. Starting with excellent communication between our tour guy Yaya and myself. The van that transported us through Marrakesh (old and new) was top quality. Yaya being a local had access to places tourists wouldn’t even imagine seeing, we visited the furnace behind a Hammam, visited an authentic rug fabric, and we also skipped the lines on the museums and more other awesome stuff. You can tell that Yaya know his way around Marrakesh. If you are undecided on which tour to choose, choose this one, you will not regret it. Thanks for the tour and dinner recommendations Yaya! It was delicious.

We had a great time this afternoon. It's been so difficult in Marrakech since the earth quake, however Abdula made sure we were able to see and experience many sites. He changed plans as areas were closed so we saw more of the hidden gems. The collection from our hotel was prompt and in a lovely vehicle. We visited many areas of shops in the souk we would struggle to find again. Some really friendly people who were very kind to us and made our experience pretty intense on the senses.
I would recommend this tour again.
