Beautiful tour with Alfredo. The tour was very badly organised with a pick up that arrived half an hour late?. Arriving in Herculaneum we were offered an audio guide despite having bought a tour with an archeologist. However, Alfredo Herculaneum’s guide carried out the tour in three languages (French, Spanish and English) flawlessly. He saved a tour that would otherwise have been a disaster. Alfredo leave this agency! You are a very high-level guide as well as a well-trained archeologist. This agency doesn't deserve you.

Great excursion. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We got to see so much. The only issue was that we had both English & Spanish speaking tourists & it took longer to explain in both languages.

Really great trip. Left on the minute of the scheduled time, really courteous & informative driver. Met by lovely guide who showed us around the site, ensuring we didn’t miss any highlights & answered every question with great knowledge. Highly recommended

The guide was the best we’ve ever had!! The ruin was so interesting…loved it all!!! The guide was so pleasant and knowledgeable and the driver was very helpful as well

We booked the guided tour of Herculaneum with GetYourGuide, offered by WORLDTOURS. Marco and Alessandro picked up us at the Cruise port terminal. At the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum Donatella was our guide. Everything was excellent. In Herculaneum there were no lines, or crowds. We were able to appreciate everything calmly and in detail with Donatella's explanations. The thermal baths were awesome and everthing is well preserved. We were in Herculaneum for more than two hours. At the end they returned us back to the cruise terminal.
This is totally recommended if you are looking something to do in Naples in a short amount time (total time was about 4 and a half hours).
It was the best experience of all the ports we visited during the cruise.

We were never picked up to start the tour despite confirming with other guides from the same provider we were in the correct meeting place and one of the other guides confirmed to our theoretical guide we were there and waiting. Later we were told by email that they had tried to call us and we were therefore a no show! Totally unacceptable and unprofessional! Still waiting for a refund!

Herculaneum is incredible. My husband and I enjoyed everything about this tour. It was a small group (7 people) and we were the first to arrive at the site so had the entire place to ourselves for the first 30 minutes or so. After having to fight the crowds at Pompeii this was a delight. Our guide Nancy was knowledgeable, informative, patient and engaging. She clearly has a passion for her subject and made the park come alive for us. I highly recommend this tour. Nancy also leads a tour of the Archaeological Museum in Naples, which I wish I had known about before we visited the museum.

We toured with Nancy she was excellent and informative. The location was interesting. We did sit on the van for quite some time before proceeding to the destination which wasn’t explained by Tour leader Maria. But the tour was well worth it and the pick up was convenient and on time.

Started out a bit rough as we were told to wait at a bus stop at a piazza., but there were 3 bus stops. Then the guide was late, which worried us. However, she contacted us via whats app an said she was running late. This allowed us to walk across the street to get coffee to go, and she Mt us there.
The tour itself was good. Lots of great information. We did miss seeing the preserved bones because our guide asked and was told it was closed, however, there were many tourists in that area. We did miss this. Also, our guide had to rush off to do her next tour. We got our full time and the tour was great, I think there is not enough time for the guides between tours, which must be difficult for them.

Our guide explained a lot of the history of the ancient city. We had a small group which gave us an opportunity to learn more. Definitely worth seeing if you have the time.
