Let me start by saying that we make a point of booking tours wherever we travel and have done several through Viator. This is one of the best tours we have ever done, and is absolutely the best food tour. We were picked up at our hotel by Victor, who is super engaging and informative. He immediately made it an intimate family experience even though in total we were a group of about 15 or so (only 3 of us were in my party.) We explored Chinatown and had some fantastic food. Everything was delicious and the food was interesting and phenomenal. It also felt really great to sample from local vendors to get a true flavor of local eating. The sashimi was some of the best I have ever eaten. Pro tip: Do not eat before this tour! The amount of food you get will make you full and we love to eat! Thank you, Victor, for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour.

We did this with Victor, the owner, and it was the best food walking tour we’ve taken. Victor was welcoming, very attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. The food samples were very generous and freshly made and a wonderful variety to showcase the many cultures of the island. The walking pace was perfect and we would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing food tour of primarily Honolulu’s Chinatown featuring food tastings of Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino dishes, fruits, desserts, sashimi, and drink. Go hungry, since you will get plenty of food. Tour includes some background history of the food and cultures that are found in Hawaii’s Chinatown. Tour comprised of 14 people and two guides. Transportation was in clean oversized tour vans.

I'm a food tour guide myself and try to take food tours wherever I travel. This tour stood out to me as not your usual Hawaii food tour, and that was on point.

Vic and TJ were awesome guides, good communicators, and they made sure there was PLENTY of food! We could have brought a lot back, but nothing went to waste and if there was extra went to unhoused persons. And just not just the volume of food, but the many different things we tried were awesome.

Best food tour to experience local little family-owned eateries and restaurants. Bounty of fresh sea food, meat, fruits, and bakery was included in the tour. Our guide Victor is very passionate about history and culture of local cuisines. He took a great care of our group and shared many interesting things about Honolulu and it's cuisine.

Fabulous walking tour of Chinatown with Victor. So many great food tastes! We started with bread buns stuffed with pork, then sampled a ton of Hawaiian fruits, pork adobo, crispy fried bananas, roasted pork and duck, ahi sashimi and poke (3 kinds), cooked octopus, vietnamese cake and a pork cake. Everything was so good and fresh. Best food tour we have ever taken and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time together with TJ on our tour. There was so much food to try and plenty to bring home if you wish. First at Royal Bakery we had the pork and kalua pork manapua. Both delicious. Then we went to China Town for adobo pork, fruit duck and fresh fish. We were able to try many different “exotic” fruits even durian if you are brave enough! The sashimi and poke were awesome. I definitely recommend this tour for the food and the wonderful guide. You will not leave hungry as you might on other tours!
