Having had excellent experiences at other Hard Rock Cafe’s around the world including in NY and Lisbon, me and my partner were expecting a pleasant experience in Honolulu. It was not a busy evening (even for a Friday) and we had booked a table in advance. Table service was okay and our food came promptly. What I was not expecting was to be asked to be photographed by a photographer whilst eating. We were told these were free. The photographer then proceeds to try and take as many as possible including making us do different poses when we’re trying to eat. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t look great with food in my mouth and my priority is to relax and enjoy my meal in peace. At the end of our food the photographer then comes out with six photos asking which one we are buying. We were then essentially pressured to buy a terrible cringey photo of me and my girlfriend trying to enjoy our food. Aside from photographer, food was average and beer selection terrible. Photos attached and was particular disappointed in the brownie sundae which is awesome in other hard rocks. Cocktails were good but they are tiny for the price you pay (I paid $16 for a Southern Rock in a tiny glass). Overall, our experience was ruined somewhat by the photographer and being too English I tipped too much.

Perfect location and service.
It is 10 minutes from the central hub of Waikiki.
Very good service from the staff. My daughter had an accident with a broken glass and promptly received the team's full attention.
Very good food. Impeccable meat. Worth the visit as always.

Our family loves going to Hard Rock at different cities- this one was definitely the nicest and newest of all. Definitely get a reservation and sit outside on the balcony if you can!

My husband and I both had burgers, I had a shake and he had a beer. Our burgers were good like they usually are at Hard Rock locations. We sat in an open area patio with a view of the main street. Our total bill was about what one entree had been other nights on our trip.

Good Hard Rock Café. We were here 9 and 5 years ago and for the third time we were happy with our visit. The food was delicious as usual, although we have to be honest, it has been better. His burger was good but lacked sauce. My fish was also good, but a little bland. The drinks were very good as always. The service was friendly and attentive.

We have been to over 20 hard rocks on our travels around the world, but this is one of our favourites. The ambiance, the service and the food and drinks are all top notch. It’s situated almost in the heart of Waikiki, it’s such a cool place to be and the view from the balcony is amazing. One of the managers took the time out to come and speak to us at our table and all the staff were brilliant. As in most hard rocks, there’s always a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails, although for me personally there wasn’t much in the way of craft beers. I had the Messi burger, it was very nice and not particularly messy 😊

We decided to go to the Hard Rock was a 'why not?!' - it's simple, the menu is not overly complicated. We opted for the Mahi Mahi special which was delicious and cooked to perfection. They have a great children's menu and its nice to make them feel a bit special. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Having been to many Hard Rock cafe's around the world this lives up to it's brand. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to find somewhere to eat with small children in a foreign place but the Hard Rock is just a no fuss, easy place to eat where you are pretty much guaranteed to get a decent meal. The Honolulu venue has a beautiful upstairs balcony with fresh sea breezes overlooking the main drag for some people watching.

Here with our Elvis group (nearly 100) all of us have been for food/drinks and taken pictures of the Elvis pictures :) Good atmosphere - my Son actually bumped in to someone he works with in the UK! You couldn't make it up!
