This is a very long day but it is worth it. Our guide “Dasha” was great. We had enough time on each stop.

A worthy day trip to a beautiful town! Sofia did a great job ensuring all 40+ people made it to/from, with interesting and helpful commentary. We were lucky enough to experience Hallstatt on a rare snow day and found a cozy 400 year old in to have some goulash, apfelstrudel and hot chocolate. It was a memorable day! (The weather meant that the Skywalk was closed so we can't comment on that part of the trip)

Loved the view after taking funicular but unfortunately not enough time to visit salt mine! Just enough to go till end of street to the church. Beautiful lake, clear water, even saw some swans, made me want to come back and do a kur!

Really good day out. Beautiful sights but you do only get 3 hours in the town and we spent over 2 hours waiting for the skywalk. Found it difficult to find somewhere to eat there aswell, super busy. Would have been nice to of been told how long the skywalk wait was etc.

I enjoyed the sky walk which was what attracted me to the tour in the first place. I did enjoy the tour guide (Dasha) as she was informative, humorous and she did a nice job of involving everyone on the bus. I also enjoyed our trip to the castle on the lake (something I had not expected and the amount of free time we had, particularly in Hallstatt. I very much appreciated the group running the tour on Christmas Day itself as I often find myself bored due to the lack of activities on the holiday.

No doubt Hallstatt is beautiful, but it is very small and overwhelmed with tourists. The bus leaves at 7:45 am and returns at almost 8.30 pm. They stop a couple of times for food/bathrooms.
The wait to get up the fenicular to the skybridge was about an hour, which after the long bus ride was not that fun.
The tour is very well run, Dasca was our guide and her historical commentary was great.
Very beautiful, but so much time on the bus and the very crowded town of Hallstatt left us feeling like we might have spent our time otherwise.

The trip to Hallstatt was amazing with the skywalk being one of the best experiences I've had. Lily, our guide for the day, was outstanding in terms of providing info of everything on the route to Hallstatt like what, how and when of things to do and history of certain towns. We also got a post card and Hallstatt salt as a souvenir which was a very good gesture. I'd definitely recommend her.

It’s a long day and a long drive but Hallstatt lives up to its reputation and the stops along the route aren’t bad. Pack some snacks though because you will get fleeced during the snack breaks, or you might not find a place to sit and eat in Hallstatt.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgable and full of local information. Outbound she was constantly providing us with relevant information and historic details along the way.

I think it’s one of the best tours you may have when you are in Vienna and if you’re lucky as we were in December with such a clear sky it is amazing.
