You will be able to discover all the secrets of the world of wine in Mendoza. We visit an artisanal, family and organic winery that teaches us the work in the vineyard, the production process, the storage and we finish with the tasting of two wines. Then we visit a modern, boutique winery, where we see the contrast between both industries, enjoy time in the vineyard, and relax while tasting two wines. Next we visit an olive oil factory, they detail the production and finally we will try the products they make (ATTENTION: temporarily visit in Spanish). At the end of the afternoon we visited a sweet liqueur wine cellar, a museum winery with more than 100 years of experience that reveals its secrets so that we can enjoy its valuable and traditional wines. This tour was excellent! Picked us up at our hotel in downtown Mendoza and the wineries were fairly close to Mendoza, which was nice. Nice variety of vineyards and wine selections. Nice size group (about 15-16). Bonus was the olive oil place! Yum!!

First of all, I want to make it clear that we have booked Viator tours all ever the world and this is not a review of Viator but they need to step in and address this tour. First, we got picked up and we spend 1:15minutes driving around the city to pick up other passengers and our tour lady decided not to explain that to us so we were all guessing what was going one. Second she had texted over 3 times to change the pick up time. Third, we got to the bodegas and when I say some of the wines were terrible is an understatement. Fourth, in the bodegas the tours were all unorganized and in one instant over 75 people were hovering over the tour guide which at this point I complaint. Fifth, our tour lady decided to seat only the English speaking folks on the front of the bus and totally forgot that there are bilinguals around this world who speak English and Spanish. Lastly, I will continue to a fan of Viator but this was beyond disastrous and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Interesting visit 3 wineries and 1 olive place. Good way to get an understanding of basics of Malbec wine. Crew was supportive. I forgot my jacket and they were kind enough to drive all the way back to return it.

I think the wine tour was great. The main tour guide was nice and informative. I think we spent a good amount of time in each place. I learned a lot and tried a lot of great wines. The tour was a great option and it was well priced.

This was such a great tour! The price was approachable, the guide and driver were awesome, all the stops also had great guide who spoke English well. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a half day option.

The tour fit in a lot for the time we had scheduled and Dolores was a great tour guide. I particularly enjoyed the olive oil tasting as it was very unique and broke up the vineyards.
My only criticism for this tour is that Dolores became quieter when she spoke in English, when she was actually very good, so I think she just needs to have more confidence! The only reason I have this as a criticism is because I sat towards the back of the bus and there were some Spanish speakers who became quite loud once the English part started, so if the guide was more confident/spoke into the mic more, it wouldn’t have been a problem at all. Overall great tour and great value for money.

This is a tour of cheap wines that may make you sick and all taste the same. The tour guide asked if there were things that could make it better. Out of the 800+ wineries in the area, we suggested choosing different ones. The response was “it’s a beginner tour.” Most of the clients were from hostels or biking to wineries. If you’re looking to save on a wine tour experience, set it up yourself and don’t get stuck in tourist traps with terrible wine in the land of delicious wine. There were so many delicious wineries, this tour had none. Do not recommend.

Really enjoyed this winery tour as a solo traveller. Prompt pick up in a minibus van and not too long until we got to the first stop. Well explained in English throughout. I enjoyed all of the vineyard stops, nice to see some different ones. The olive oil stop was something a bit extra! Would have maybe enjoyed having a bit more time trying the wines at each place but I understand this is a half day tour so logistically it worked well for what it was - we got to taste three wines at each vineyard. Very good value for money! Recommend for a quick whizz around to see different places, but if you want a relaxed time trying different wines and getting plenty of wine then maybe book a whole day at one place.

Great trip around the vineyards of Mendoza. Interesting mix of the different focus of each bodega - ie: the organic bodega (v. impressive and beautifully curated) and the oldest vineyard in the area. Maru was a v. knowledgable guide & good fun - thoroughly recommend.
