Peter picked us up at the scheduled place and time. We visited 3 cellars with dinner at the third. All of the wine tasted was great and dinner was awesome. We did a barrel tasting at one of the cellars which is always fun! Peter was great and the tour is highly recommend!

The tour was really nice and interesting. We had a few hiccups before departure but once on the way everything went nice and smooth.
The vineyards are small family run business that really give you a taste of the region and the wine culture (Also VERY GENEROUS TASTING!!)
Food was great, ambience was lively and the scenery beautiful.

We went on this tour with my family and really enjoyed it. We were picked up on time from the pickup point and the 30-45 minute trip to the wine country was kept interesting by our host Juliana. We visited a couple wineries and tasted 4 different wines at each. Most were white wines as this type is the best for their soil and weather. We enjoyed all the different wines. The second winery provided a nice chicken lunch.

The tour guide Peter was charming and extremely knowledgeable about Budapest, the history of wine making in Budapest and the method of wine making and wines in the area. We were met on time and transported safely to the wineries. The hosts at the wineries were enthusiastic in sharing their wine making experiences and the methods thereof. In general the wines were of good quality with some being better than others. The dinner served was basic, well cooked but not memorable. My favourite winery and experience was definitely the second boutique in the beautiful old cellar.

We had a nice day outside Budapest!
Peter was an amazing Guide, very knowledgeable and with a great personality!
The first place we visited was a very typical traditional small Hungarian winery, and we enjoyed a large variety of white wines!(there are not many red wines in this region).
The winemaker was very passionate and informative, and there we also visited their ancient underground cellar!
The second winery was a bit more modern but ok!
We felt mostly like being in a house!
There we had also a light lunch(one typical hungarian plate and a nice desert).
In the second winery we tasted some white wines and a red one.
The owner was speaking Hungarian but our fantastic Guide Peter, translated everything!
If you are into wines, you wont find the Hungarian white wines something very amazing, but they make a decent effort to improve!
After all, we enjoyed a nice day in the countryside of Buhdabest!
Like in most of the tours, a GOOD guide can make the difference!

This tour was great fun our guide Peter was such a patient friendly chap who made everyone feel at ease we met some lovely people too . The wine experience at both wineries will be something to remember in future years so good we didn’t want to leave

Great communication with tour guide, she was so informative on our drive to the wineries.
Enjoyed the three small wineries, so friendly and informative. You get out of the city and enjoy a relaxing wine experience with the kindest people. The dinner was superb, truly enjoyed the entire tour and learning about the local winemaking. Highly recommend this tour

Lovely tour with an amazing tour guide. Above and beyond expectation with the visits at the wineries as I would have never found them on my own. Highly recommend and would even have a second go. ♥️
